Maya's POV.
‘Could this be real, or was I just dreaming?’ I thought to myself as my eyes rested on the tall, handsome figure that stood right in front of me. The air that had been filled with tension, almost to the verge of suffocation at the sight of the guards that had threatened to do the worse earlier suddenly felt light at the sight of him.
The familiar hazel eyes left me in a daze for a few seconds as my mind wandered into the possibility of this entire new development being a reality or just a mind trick, I could not believe that the stranger I had a one-night stand with days ago was the Alpha of the new pack I had found myself in.
