*Piper’s POV*
I sat back quietly the entire night. My job here was to just observe everyone. So far it had been going well. Maybe even better than I had expected it to go.
I worried about messing up. If I read anyone wrong then the consequences would be on me. The thought of letting down not only Dark Moon but Jaxon was unbearable. I had to be careful and focused.
We stepped out of the office and Jaxon led the way down the hall. When we were far away enough from his office he finally stopped. I knew he did this as he didn’t want anyone else to hear our conversation.
