As Clarisse left from Wichita’s office, she felt Wichita’s eyes shooting arrows at her back. Arrows of uncertainty and ridiculous daze. Clarisse stepped in her heels when she left Wichita behind the door in the trance of palpable distress. She wiped the tears before Josephine could see and returned to a normal physical composure. Her mental state stood invariable in the relentless trauma which had just encapsulated Clarisse. Clarisse made it certain that she had a few moments before Wichita came bursting out of that door. It would take time for Wichita to recover from her distress before she could follow her, or ask Josephine to stop her through the intercom. Josephine and Clarisse exchanged the smiles as Clarisse strode through the hallway and waited impatiently for the elevator to open
