“How is she?” Sebastian asked as they entered the room. “She will be fine, no major damages,” Maria answered. “Ok, can we discuss this later? Sebastian, lift Emma we are leaving this place,” Trevor spoke. “Holy s**t. You are thinking of shadow walking, aren’t you?” Maria asked. “It’s the only chance we have,” Trevor sighed. “But the counsel?” “Screw the counsel and their stupid laws. Siobhan used his powers, and none of them showed up. He is the leader he should leady by example. Came closer.” They moved closer to Trevor, and seconds later, they were outside. They rushed and entered the car. Trevor turned on the engine and took off. The gate opened, and the media started flashing cameras at them. Without caring what they were doing there, he continued driving. They started running towards them but couldn’t catch up. “What the hell is that T?” Maria asked. “I don’t know,” he replied. “I think it has something to do with this,” he showed his phone to Maria. “Oh, God,” she put her hand on the mouth. “what?” Trevor asked. “There is news on the internet that you run over someone and left him to die there,” Maria spoke, but there was anger in her voice. “what the hell. I took the man to the hospital myself.” “Well, the Internet says the opposite,” Sebastian said. “No, here is what happened,” he explained everything to them. “So the man lied?” Maria asked. “I guess so. But that is something to think about later,” Trevor replied. “So where are we going?” Maria asked. “I don’t know now. We would have gone to a hotel but apparently, I’m wanted by the law,” he sighed. “I have a suggestion,” Sebastian spoke. “What?” Trevor shot a steely glare at Sebastian. “We can go to my place. Siobhan doesn’t know my place.” “Oh, yeah. What about Charles?” “Neither does he know my place. So I think we will be safe there.” Emma slowly opened her eyes and sat in a sitting position. “Where are we? And tell me we won?” she said, yawning. “We are going to my place and we had to run away. So technically we didn’t win,” Sebastian said. “Hey, you are a werewolf do you know Charles?” “He is the alpha. Why do you ask?” Emma spoke. “He showed up at Trevor’s house. He is looking for the ring,” Sebastian answered. “But before we reach Sebastian’s place, Amell as scent abilities. I might track us,” Maria spoke. “I can do what I did earlier, to block him from tracking us,” Trevor spoke. “Then what are you waiting for, man do it,” Sebastian spoke. Trevor raised his wand and gave it a casual flick, then some sort of bubble formed around them. But they only saw the bubble for a couple of seconds, then it vanished. “So, for how long will it protect us?” Emma asked. “For twenty-four hours,” Trevor replied. “Then it’s final we are going to my place,” Sebastian said. After an hour, they reached Sebastian’s place. Sebastian tried to open the door, but it was locked. He checked his pockets, probably for a key, but found nothing. Then he pressed on a small red button and a bell rang. After a few minutes, the door got opened, and they all rushed inside. “Trevor, Maria. Sebastian, is everything ok? And why weren’t you picking up my calls? You had me worried,” Natasha spoke. They all sat down but none of them were speaking, they just kept on looking at each other. “Can someone explain what is going on here? And what is this about Trevor being wanted by the police?” Natasha asked. “Those guys who attacked me the other night came even today,” Sebastian spoke. “What!” Natasha gasped. “And this crazy wizard is looking for the spell book. So technically we are running from two crazy lunatics. While for Trevor three,” Sebastian spoke. “Ah, very supportive,” Trevor spoke. “Oh, God. So in short we are in danger?” Natasha asked. “Kind of,” Emma replied. “And who might you be?” “Oh, this is Emma, Trevor’s employ. And crazy story, she is a werewolf,” Sebastian replied. “So am I the only regular here?” Natasha asked. “No, we are together, sis,” Maria answered. ********** “So those little rascals tricked both of us,” Charles spoke, holding a ring in his hands. “Yeah,” Siobhan replied. They both went quiet, covered in blood and sitting in a rather dark, scary forest. Fire burning in the middle, Amell busy talking to Alinani and Mulenga. “I think I have a plane, man,” Siobhan spoke. “cool, it’s time we teach those kids to respect us,” Charles smirked. ********** Natasha came from the kitchen with cups of coffee on a tray. They all grabbed their cups and started sipping their coffee. “If you are a werewolf. Why are you not with the pack?” Maria asked, glaring at Emma. “I don’t know, I just found myself in Kitwe during childhood,” Emma replied. “And when did you come to Lusaka?” Natasha asked. “Six months ago.” “Alright, we will leave you ladies alone. Trevor, let us go,” Sebastian gestured for Trevor to follow him. They entered Sebastian’s room. And they sat on the bed next to each other. “So the fire thing,” Sebastian began. “Man, I don’t know what I’m gonna do now. My wife is now in trouble running around because of me, man. My baby died because of me,” he started slamming his head on his hands, a teardrop coming out of his left eye. “Man, came on,” he started parting him. “This s**t isn’t your fault, man. We just found ourselves in it. The best we can do is to teach those bastards a lesson.” “Do you have any plane?” “Not really.” “But we need to leave this place immediately. We can’t put your son or daughter in danger, man,” he said, sounding more relaxed. “I guess so, but where will we go?” “I don…… wait,” he got up, “My parents have a house near kabulonga we can go there,” he grinned. “Good, so tomorrow right?” “No, now while we still can, man.” “But can’t we sleep for the night the girls are probably tired.” “The girls, you are speaking for yourself. Let is go, asshole,” he punched Sebastian’s shoulder, smiling. They quickly left the room. “Girls, we are leaving,” Sebastian said before they could even reach where the girls were sitting. And they seemed to enjoy each other’s company because their faces were glowing with happiness. “But Seb it’s ten pm can’t we go tomorrow?” Natasha asked. “No, we have to go now. For the safety of our baby,” he went close to Natasha, his one hand wrapped around her and the other hand on her stomach. “So you are leaving me?” she moved a few feet from him. “While I can’t let you run around in that condition. And if those psychopaths find us, there is no telling what might happen.” “Oh, God,” was all Natasha could say. “It’s for the best, Natasha. But don’t worry, we will come back, and it’s not like we are going very far,” Trevor spoke. “Where are we going?” Maria asked. “At my parent’s house in Kabulonga.” “Oh.” Sebastian gave Natasha a deep kiss and hugged her tears streaming down her face. “Natasha we have to go, let go.” Trevor and the girls were already at the door. Sebastian unwrapped himself and began walking towards the door not bothering to look behind or else he might just change his mind.
