CHAPTER ELEVEN

“I’m pregnant, I found out yesterday,” a smile crept on her face. “How certain are you it is my baby?” He shot her a questioning look. “Are you seriously asking me that stupid question, Sebastian? Who the hell would this baby belong to if it isn’t you?” She looked at him and you could surely hear in her tone that he pressed the wrong button. “I don’t know, the jackass you were busy kissing when I was away.” “What!” “Yeah, you thought I wouldn’t find out?” “I don’t know what you are talking about,” she got up. “Of course you know what I’m talking about dammit,” he turned her around, “who was that bastard you were smooching with?” “You are hating me.” “Then tell me the truth, Natasha.” “It only happened one night. Losing my job made me upset, and I was calling you, but you aren’t picking up. But for your information I didn’t sleep with him it was just a mare kiss.” “A mare kiss, you say.” “Yes, Sebastian. Don’t forget the night you came back, it went down in this house inside that bedroom of yours, Mr. Sebastian Mulenga.” “And where are the test results?” “In my purse.” Sebastian picked the purse from the table, took out a piece of paper, and began studying it. After he finished he said, “three weeks pregnant, right?” “Yes,” she replied. “So I’m gonna be a dad?” He grinned. “Yes, dammit.” He went squatted down close to Natasha’s stomach and said, “hey little guy,” Natasha laughed, she even forgot about him being a lycanthrope. “It’s gonna be a girl.” “Hell no, it’s gonna be a boy,” his grin stretched even wider. “Whatever.” Sebastian went and sat down, his smile slowly fading away. “Are you ok?” She asked. “Yeah, I’m fine,” he lied. He was thinking about Emma because he surely can’t leave Natasha knowing that she was pregnant. He wasn’t a heartless bastard. “If you say so, let me prepare breakfast.” “Sure,” and Natasha left. ******* “Good morning Mr. Jamison,” Trevor said, closing the tax door softy “Good morning, my son,” he replied. He gazed at Trevor’s injured face and added, “Hope all is well?” “All is well, Mr. Jamison. You didn’t sleep on your job last night, did you?” he asked, changing the topic. “No, I didn’t,” he grinned. “In that case, I will see you later.” “Aright sir…. I mean Trevor.” Trevor grinned and left. Trevor opened the door, and it alarmed everyone as they swung around and glared at him with ashen expressions. He smiled and went straight to his office to avoid questions and gestured for Meaghan to follow him. “You can take a sit,” Trevor told Meaghan as they entered the office. “Thank you, sir.” She kept on staring at Trevor’s wounded forehead, wondering what must have happened to him. “How is everything moving so far, no problem occurred in my absence, right?” Trevor asked. “Everything is going great, sir. Nothing to worry about all is well. You just have to sing these papers.” She handed the papers to Trevor. “Oh, I even forgot to ask how you are doing this morning,” Trevor signed “I’m fine, sir, and how are you?” she asked. “I’m good as well, Meaghan. And the new girl,” he continued, “do you think she is doing great? How is she working so far?” Trevor asked. “She is doing great so far. And she was the first one to come to work. She is doing great.” “That is great. And keep up the outstanding work, Meaghan. I have a lot on my plate right now so I will rarely come here I’m counting on you,” he growled, his shoulders flexing instinctively. “Sure sir, you can count on me. But sir, what happened to you?” she finally asked curiously. “Oh this little thing, nothing serious don’t worry about it,” he replied but his concentration was on the papers. “Alright if you say so.” But she didn’t buy it, she knew something serious must have happened. He had to lie to her: If humans were to know that the magical world existed, things wouldn’t turn out to be good. They could have eliminated them, even became fugitives. That is why he had to make sure Siobhan and Amell go away for good by any means necessary. If they survived that night’s incident. “alright you can attend to your work,” Trevor said huskily, “and can you tell someone to bring me coffee my throat is dry,” he added. “Yes, Mr. Trevor, I will, and don’t forget to sign the papers.” He gave her a thumbs up and she left the office. No sooner did she leave than Trevor’s phone rung. He looked at the screen it was Sebastian. He picked it up and answered. “yes, man.” “Bro, are you home or the café?” Sebastian asked. “I’m at the cafe, Maria made me one of her healing potions. So I’m feeling a bit better.” Good, can I come there then?” “Didn’t you go to work? It’s only nine in the morning.’ “I had other things to attend to. But don’t worry about that I will just dazzle the big-headed man and work late.” “Oh, one day he will kick you out and we will see where you will go. And what was so important you had to miss work asshole?” Sebastian kept quiet for a while and then said earnestly. “Natasha knows I’m a werewolf man.” “What the f……how? When?” “Last night, man. Can I just come I will explain it there?” “You better have a good excuse for allowing this s**t to happen,” and he caught off the phone. Emma knocked on the door and Trevor answered for her to go in. “Here is your coffee sir, ” she said. “Oh, thanks Emma you can put it over here, ” he removed some papers on the table. “Anything else sir,” she asked upon sitting the cup of coffee on the table. “No the coffee will do thanks, ” he swiveled his head from the laptop, shot Emma a pleasant grinning, and she left. ********** Two hours later, Sebastian reached the cafe. “Hey Mr. Sebastian,” Emma called out. “Oh, Emma I didn’t see you. How are you?” “I’m doing great sir and… you?” she added, surveying him. “I’m also fine, thanks. But don’t call me sir. Sebastian is fine ok?” “Sure, why not? But what is with you two even Mr. Trevor came bruised up?” “Nothing Emma, we are good,” he touched her left shoulder and went on, “I gotta bounce. Is he even inside?” He pointed at Trevor’s office door. “Yes, he is.” “Alright, see you later Emma,” and he took off without waiting for a reply or a thumbs up. He entered and closed the door behind him softly. Trevor was sitting at his oversized chair, rubbing his hands furiously. Sebastian went and sat on the opposite chair. “What are you waiting for start explaining,” Trevor said. “Well, after I left your place, two lycanthropes were waiting for me,” he paused. “wait what,” Trevor stood up. “Yes man, they are looking for the ring.” “Of the Monotropa uniflora?” “Yes,” he took a sip of the glass of water on the table. “And they kicked your ass, look at your hand,” he smiled. “Of course not I kicked there’s, and will you focus we need to protect that ring man?” “Don’t worry, no one can get in the Santa’s den.” “Good.” They both kept quiet for a few minutes, trying to figure out what the hell was going on in their lives. They didn’t have to worry only about the spell book, but the ring too. “And the thing about you telling Natasha you are a lycanthrope?” “Oh, that. So when I reached home, I found her there.” “And how is that connected to you telling her?” “I’m going there, dammit. I was covered in blood and necked mind you, she started asking me question after question and finally I told her about the…….lycanthrope part.” He took another sip of water, holding up his hand, gesturing for Trevor not to say a word. “At first she thought I was making it up, and then I showed her rather than just speaking.” “Are you crazy she didn’t believe you and then you showed her?” “Let me finish first, then you can shout at me, dad. After she saw me in lycanthrope form, she collapsed and woke up this morning. Then she told me the news every man awaits to hear man, Natasha is pregnant,” he looked up at Trevor. “You are freaking kidding me, man.” “No man it’s the truth.” “But are you sure, though?” “Yes, I saw the test results, and when I came back we did…..you know at my place.” “In that case congratulations man, you are now a dad act like one.” “Sure man.” ******** “Are you sure this will make Trevor surrender the book?” “I’m certain this plan will work Amell. If we do just as planned, the kid will give us what we want.” “If you say so. And when are we leaving?” “In a few minutes. For now, you can prepare, I want to be alone.” “Alright Siobhan, see you later,” Amell said, closing the door behind him softly. Siobhan turned and looked in a mirror that was kind of the same size as that in snore white, the one that the evil witch was using. He looked in the mirror for about two minutes, then laughed ferociously. One of those evil laughs, but there was something unusual about this one because it almost made me s**t my pants where I was watching from.
