CHAPTER TEN

2026 Words
He began walking, hoping they weren’t who he thought they were. He reached where the two men stood. Tried to go around them, but the blond one moved in front of Sebastian.   “Dude, will you let me pass?” Sebastian demanded, grinning.   Instead of moving, the bold man also came and stood beside his mate.   “Where can we find Trevor?” the blond man spoke. Displaying a considerably serious face. Sebastian paused, regarding the two guys. “And how am I supposed to know that?” he asked, keeping a straight face.   “Well, aren’t you his friend?” the bold one asked. “Who the hell are these guys?” Seb whispered to himself. “Look man, I don’t know who you are talking about. So you are just wasting both my time and yours,” he tried to pass again they didn’t move.   “We know you are friends with Trevor Mwansa so just tell us where we can find him, dammit,” the bold man shouted fiercely. “And why are you looking for him anyway,” Seb asked. “We want something from him,” the blonde man said. “Ok. I wish you the best on finding….. who are you searching for again? Oh, Trevor. Now if you may excuse me, I gotta go.” “I think you prefer the hard way then.” “Finally, some fun. You gonna regret this, you little s**t,” the bold man said smirking. The two men growled at the same time their muscles started popping and tore themselves open, then reforged anew to sustain the increase in size. Their clothes becoming incapable of holding their wiry bodies and shredded into pieces. Seb stood there with his hands in his pockets, completely unfazed by their grotesque. Two to three minutes, two werewolves stood in front of Sebastian. One was fluffy and the other one’s fur looked like they got burned, but both displayed rather muscular postures. The street lights illuminated them from atop, making their teeth look even more point.   “I knew it the moment I saw your eyes,” Sebastian said. “But if you Wanna play, I’m up for it,” he added, frowning. Seb whimpered in agony as his bones started snapping under the flesh, but there was somewhat excitement in his eyes. His animalistic, elongating snout instantly replaced his humanity. His fur sprouted from his skin to cover him like an Ox blanket over one’s pallid flesh, jaws wide enough to cut a man in half. Seb’s tennis ball sized eyes glistening like the morning star except that they were malevolent. He was a seven feet tall majestic werewolf. Without giving the two men the chance, Seb jumped at the fluffy wolf and scratched his face. But before his crawl fist could punch him, the other wolf pushed Sebastian off his friend so aggressively he groaned when he hit the ground. The fluffy wolf took Sebastian by the hand, swing him around, and threw him.   He went skidding on the tyre road, which ripped part of his right-hand skin off. Seb got up, growling angrily, staring at the two wolves murderously who were standing fifteen feet from him.   The two wolves run towards Sebastian, who seemed to run towards them as well. The other wolf formed a crawl fist the size of the baseball and punched Sebastian between the eyes. He went flying back in the air and hit one streetlight, and it stopped functioning. The wolves jumped on top of Sebastian groaning and started punching him. He pushed one of them. Then punched the one with burned furs so much that his kidneys ached, likely ruptured. He howled upon striking the ground but got up like a coiled snake ready to strike. Sebastian got to his feet in human form. The other two wolves also were In human form, naked.   Sebastian gazed at the ripped skin on his right hand, then to the men, his eyes were merciless, cold and threatening to obliterate them. The blond man had a deep cut on his eye he could barely see. The other one was just rubbing on his ruptured kidney. “They will be serious repercussions for that, you insolent little s**t,” oozed out the blond man. “Just tell us where your wizard friend stays, man. We have to take that ring to our alpha,” said the bold man and took a sharp breath. “What is so important about this ring?” Sebastian asked. “We can’t say much, just know it’s really valuable kid,” answered the blond man.   “Tell me why you need that ring or leave,” he tried to put his hands in his pocket then realized that he was necked.   “This bastards are looking for the ring of the monotropa uniflora, in no way will I take them to Trevor’s’ house,” he whispered. “This boy will not tell us,” he paused for a breath then went on, “let’s just beat the answers out of him.” The blond man whispered to his friend but was loud enough for Seb to hear.   Sebastian immediately tapped into his werewolf powers as his forward momentum fist slammed one man onto the ground. Before the other one could transform, Seb gave him an uppercut on his lower jaw.   The bastard went flying into the air and you could see his feet even transformed and then he fell and hit the ground, his feet slowly shifting into human form. Sebastian went kicked the man on his stomach. The man skidded and bumped into his friend. They lay on the ground…..zero movements from them. The blows had really rattled them knocking them instantly unconscious. He turned leaving the two men laying on the ground undressed…….literally. “Don’t mess with people you don’t know,” he said as he flicked a glare back at the unconscious men. “Dammit, ” he cursed trying to put his hands in the pockets. ************** After an hour Sebastian reached his place, opened the door and went in. Not even bothering to turn on the lights, he strode to the stairs. Just before he could climb the second stair, the room got lit. He jumped as he whirled around, ready to strike the invader. But there she was, standing close to the light switch, her jaw dropped upon laying her eyes on Sebastian. Her thick dark hair drenched down her shoulders, she wore a dress that made her look daring and commanding. Her shoes lay on the floor and a glass of red wine on the table. “What the hell is going on?” She asked assessing him. “Natasha, what are doing here? You gotta go,” he went and opened the door. “Not until you explain…….this,” she gestured for his body. He grabbed the nearest clothing and covered himself, then took her hand. But the grip was not strong enough. “I said not until you spell out what the hell is going on, Sebastian Mulenga. You are covered in blood, bruises all over your body and you are…….naked,” she said and went to seat on a couch. “Are you sure you want to know what is going on?” He followed her. “Yes, Sebastian, I want to know.” “Just promise me you won’t tell anyone?” He went and sat close to her. “Did you kill someone?” She shot him a nervous look. “Not really, but somewhat” he scratched his head. “What!” She shouted whispery and got up, but he caught her hand and sat her down. “listen dammit, say nothing until I’m done ok?” “Yeah,” she said, seeming to calm down. “Here it goes,” he swallowed his saliva so loud that even Natasha probably heard it. “I’m a lycanthrope,” he paused, waiting for her response. “Seriously, Sebastian, this is the lamest excuse you could come up with. Do I look like a kid to you?” He opened his mouth to speak, but she held up her finger to silence him and went on, “you have done nothing but act rudely towards me ever since you came back. And here I was excited to tell you the news that could change our lives forever, then you show up here naked and covered in blood and giving me this bullshit of an excuse. God knows what chick you were with,” she got up turned around, and took a step forward, then she stopped and said, “Listen, Sebastian, I have no time for this so when you are ready to talk you know where to find me.” She continued working, touched the handle of the door, but before she could open it something was popping behind her. She swiveled around and she saw a seven feet tall lycanthrope. “Oh, my God,” she said dumbstruck, then fell to the ground, her wallet went flying in the air. Sebastian run towards her slowly turning back into human form, God knows what he was thinking revealing himself to the woman. He picked her up and went upstairs, kept on shouting her name hoping she might wake up but she didn’t. He checked her pulse, then sighed in relief. ********** The sun beamed at the window the next morning. Natasha peeled open her eyes, studied the room, and instantly knew it was Sebastian’s. She got up and went downstairs thinking if what she saw was a dream or reality, but all her questions were about to be answered.   “Oh, you finally wake,” he grinned, “for a second I thought I should have called the doctor,” he added as an afterthought. He reached his hand to help her climb down, but she ignored him and just passed not a single word out of her mouth. She went and sat on a chair displaying a serious expression. “Hello, good morning,” he followed her. “Seb, tell me that what the hell I saw was me dreaming,” she said but didn’t look at him. “I wish I could but it was reality Natasha,” he sighed. “But how?” She asked in a flat tone. “Er……..because my parents were lycanthropes.” “I mean, how did I not see it? And how do you people even exist? Isn’t it supposed to be fairy tale or something?” She spun and stared at him with a rather calm expression. Which made him wonder if everything was ok, I mean the lady should have been freaking the hell out. But that was something to think about later. “You didn’t know because I was putting on this,” he took off his contact lenses and his eyes were glowing the exact color of his fur. White. Natasha gasped and moved backward but Sebastian went on without waiting for a response, “also because I have learned to master my…….beast.” “I don’t know what to say, all of this s**t is just crazy Seb. Ok, I think I’m gonna lose my mind,” she got up and started pacing around, rubbing her hands nervously. “Relax, I am not gonna eat you,” he said sarcastically, trying to lighten up the mood. “Oh, my God,” she sat down. “What?” “If you are a lycanthrope, then there are ninety-nine point nine percent chances of our baby being a lycanthrope,” they locked eyes for a minute or two. “What did you just say?” he asked, dumbstruck.
