The jet was on fire. At the last moment of the nosedive, the jet had levelled out before it smashed into the ground. Strapped into his seat, Daniel had still felt as though he was being thrown around the cabin as the plane spun around, sparks flying as it screeched over concrete and finally ground to a halt. The teenage boy hardly had the time to appreciate the fact that he was still alive and relatively unhurt when black clouds of smoke began pouring into the cabin.
