I saw white, everything is white and the silence of my surroundings makes me wonder.
Am I in heaven?
I look around slowly, my whole body feels sore and heavy. I turn to look at my right side and there's Ryan sleeping soundly. His face looks angelic when he's sleeping and suddenly he stirs, moving slowly until his eyes, the blue ocean orbs, meet my own. He suddenly smiles softly at me and I smile back at him before I close my eyes once more.
Yep, I'm officially dead and in heaven.
"No, you're not."
My eyes snap open and quickly connected to Ryan's as he stands next to me and leaning close to my face.
"I won't allow you to leave me, Mia"
I look at him longingly as my heart flutters. I reach up and touch his face, brushing my thumb at his cheek slowly, relishing our skin contact.
