Julian: Is she awake yet?
Me: Yes, we are. The doctor currently checking up on her.
Julian: We're on our way. Approximately 10 minutes.
Me: Noted.
To say that we've become friends, it's not true at all but we're being civil to each other, for the sake of the twins and Mia. Julian is good so far, he's not the same as he's years ago. But when I think back, whatever he had done is only because of Willow. He would do anything for her, and I know how he felt because I will do anything for Mia in an instance.
I turn to look at Mia and she just smiles at me while letting the doctor and nurse do their work. I walk back to her and stand next to her hospital bed. Once the doctor finishes, I wait for the doctor to tell us that Mia is free to go.
