I check the time in London and it's currently nighttime, so I tap my phone and call my parents. I pace slowly in my living room while waiting for them to pick up. Finn is sitting on the sofa while scrolling his phone, but he keeps on glancing at me once in a while.
Yesterday night after sending Mia and the twins home, I had a quick talk with Julian and Finn about the things I wanted to ask my parents. I invited Julian to come over to hear about this himself, but he politely declines to say that he preferred to have a space considered that we're just merely an acquaintance. He said he would wait for me to tell him later.
After almost ending the third call, my dad picks up. He clears out his throat and I just sigh slowly as I take a seat next to Finn.
"Hey, Dad. How are you?"
