Ray could still feel the lightning tampering with his body as his vision began to blur and his consciousness slowly left his body, he was dead. A man strucked by lightning after saving a little girl from the same lightning, that was the tragic end of the young teen boy, or so he thought. ..... Ray opened his eyes and found himself surrounded by a beautiful scenery, he was standing in the middle of a grass land and a forest stood right in front of him while a river flowed by his side. "How the hell am I still alive?" He couldn't help but ask after all he was sure he was strucked by thunder and he could even still feel it in his bones. Ray stood in place for a while trying to digest what he had just seen, it took him a while but he finally figured it out. "So I died and got reincarnated in another world known as Nova and it seems like I get to have a lightning ability since I died from lightning" he thought and couldn't help but wondered what would have happened if he had died by a big bite. "I can't be that weak am I?" Ray said asking no one in particular but he still got a reply and this time it wasn't a message but a voice. Ray immediately felt shocked and he ended up falling on his butt, it was then he realized that he was free. He had tried to move before but his body was restricted but it seems to be free now, standing up from the floor he tried to communicate to the voice once again but he got no reply, the only assumption he could make was that it had to do with the so call Demon-God that had linked up with his system. Not wanting to waste his time, he started his journey into the forest to descober his new world but before that he needed to check something out. Walking up to a tree, he fold up his arm into a fist and immediately delivered a blow with all his strength. Bam! A small noice was created and Ray pulled back his b****y hand while looking blankly at the tree that was unaffected, "I really am weak" he said with a down casted look on his face and Zorak then did something unexpected. {Gift skill from Zorak} {Inspect}{allows user to see the basic information of what ever he scan's} Ray was shocked to see this message and immediately opened his status bar to see it. With this in mind, Ray took his first step into the forest. It was a long walk and he soon began to get bored from the journey, there was nothing special for him to see and he had no one to talk to. Thinking about this just made him wondered what form of life existed on this planet and as if to answer his question, a squeak was heard behind him. Ray was quick to turn his head in time to see a giant rat running toward him, it was a little faster than himself so he couldn't excaped in time and ended up being bitten by the rat. Ray bore the pain and quickly retaliated with an attack of his own, he grew a fist to it's head causing it to loose grip as it's head went swaying to the side. Ray took a few step backward and checked his health bar. HP: 2/5 His eyes widen as he saw this, just one strike from the rat had taken his health bElow average which meant if he took one more strike then he would be dead....Again. Ray suddenly felt a kind of anger build up in him and at the same moment, the rat came charging in again. Ray took his time to inspect the rat to get a basic info about it. .......... Beast rat. Level 1. HP: 4/5 (Attacks mainly with it's teeth and tail) .......... Reading the information that popped up, ray knew he couldn't let that thing get close to him again so he sent out an attack that did not require him to make contact with his enemy, it was practically the only skill he had for now. (Lightning ball) A ball of lightning appeared in his hand and he shot it straight at the rat hitting it on the head, the rat let out a loud squeak as it breath it last breath. Ray was happy about this after all it was his first kill but there were two thing he had observed. Exp: 2/20 MP: 8/10 His experience point went up by two while his magic point went down by two, this implied that he needed to kill ten level one beast to level up and also, he could only use his lightning ball five times with only four left presently. Coming to this realization he finally saw how dangerous the forest was, what if he had run into a beast with a higher level? He would have died without knowing what had happen. With this he came to a conclusion and began to walk out of the forest, it was just too dangerous for him right now. He began his journey back out of the forest but this time he was in a haste to do so, he had gone half way when he heard the sound of feets running behind him. Ray didn't even bother to look back as he also began to run at full speed, the only thing in his head right now was to get out of the forest. What ever was coming behind him was either slow or injured since it had yet to catch up with him but Ray did not bother to look behind him as he kept on running, reason being that he could already see the valley he came from. He got out from the Forrest and created quite a distance between himself and the forest as he prepared to face what ever was coming out of the forest. It took only a minute and he could finally see it, or them rather. Rushing out of the forest were three rats, they looked identical to the one he had killed earlier and could only guess that they had come to take revenge. Ray was thinking of a way out of this when he spotted a fourth rat coming out of the forest but this one was a little bit bigger and it's tail was much longer. Ray activated his inspect skill and could only swallow his saliva which seemed to have turned bitter from fright ..... Beast rat. Level 3 HP: 15/15 He had to face all four rats alone and could not afford to take a single hit, the only good thing about this was that his MP was now full big that leaves him with only five times to use the lightning ball. With a single squeak from the large rat, the others charged in at once and Ray had to roll and jump to the side several time to avoided their attack. Either because he had fought with one before, he was finding it easy to evade their attack but he was also not given the chance to return his own. Ray was slowly getting tired and it was only a matter of time before he would be strucked, he had to think of a way out. Bam! One of the rat was sent flying and standing in it's stead was a bald boy about the age of 16, ray himself was only 16 so he could pretty much guess the boy age. The surprising part thou was what the boy had done, he had sent the rat flying with just a punch which implied that he was strong, Ray immediately used his inspect skill on him Name: Tank Ability: Strength Level: 2 HP: 10/10 Ray Was happy to see this, he was saved. "Take the one by the right and I'll take the one by the left, the leader won't attack until both are dead so you can focus on your battle" Tank said and he immediately dashed toward the rat by the left. Ray took a look at the rat that he had punched earlier and realized it was dead, "I bet I'll be no different" he muttered beneath his breath as he also charged toward the rat by his side. The rat wasn't expecting it and was strucked in the face pushing it back a little, Ray didn't stop there as he found his way to the back of the rat and delivered another blow. He had realized the rats weakness and was now using it against them, the rats were fast but slow to attack. They need to stop all motion before they can attempt to bite and Ray was presently using that stoping time against the rat, he had delivered three blows and only needed two more to finish the rat. looking toward his side, he was surprised to see Tank still engaged with the rat, he had expected it to be dead by now. That was when he realized it, Tank had the strength of a level two and with his ability being strength he could easily out power his enemy but his speed was still that of a level one. Ray had noticed his status were not the same even thou he was level one, his speed had the highest value and he was guessing it was because his ability was thunder which relied on speed. Ray had spent only a few seconds thinking but the rat had made good use of the opportunity as it tail was now heading toward his body, ray wasn't going to sit back and watch what would happen if it were to hit him so he quickly activated his skill. (Lightning ball) He strucked the rat straight in the head and it died immediately, he had intentionally preserved his lightning ball hoping to use it all on the last rat since it's level was quite above his own. Looking at Tank, Ray could see he was having problems landing a hit in the rat so he decided to join forces with him, he dashed at the rat from behind and delivered a blow to it. The rat was forced toward Tank against it's will and Tank didn't miss the opportunity, with a swing of his arm the rat was dead. The two boys smiled at each other but the squeak of the last rat only came as a reminder that they weren't safe yet. The rat dashed at the two boys with a speed that was twice their own, Ray jumped to the side to avoided the attack while Tank prepared himself for the attack, Ray wanted to scream at him knowing the attack would be enough to kill him instantly but he was surprised to see Tank still standing even after the tail of the rat had slammed into him. Tank took hold of the rats tail and threw it to the side crashing into a tree, he used the opportunity to create quite a distance between them. Ray was busy thinking of what to do, he had four more times to use his lightning ball and with a strength of four it would sum up to sixteen just enough to kill the rat, he couldn't rely on Tank for this since he was slow and he definitely cannot take on another attack like the one the rat had given him. He needed to act and he needed to act fast else it could be game over for the both of them.
