A SEARCH FOR THE PICTURE
CHAPTER ONE: Episode 1
Through the steps of the wind, I heard whispering. I thought it was time to go home but so wrong in my thought. I see these faces, I kept myself, my very face I kept with the crowd because my thought says they came for me. On that, I saw fallacy penned on the print of my feet. These men came from farther country, none could factually tell what they are called but country men is what they are named. It was time to go but complication embraced me before them and hid me in the midst of the crowd. These faces meet faces but the actual face elude their faces. Like the rush of wind, we met. Like the water folded and hit this bank leaving the other without visit, that is how this particular face I captured never last longer at my side but trouble my imagination much more.
My heart desire to lodge within you but it looks to me like there is not a room for one. She is fair, hell fair to look upon, but the volume of her beauty I have no compatible instrument to take measure. If this was love, my heart would be gladden to take the trophy as the greatest ultimate searcher.
"What am I to your fairness?"
My heart born this question only heard by me. Deception quicken her feet closer to me and left no print to trace.
"How can such a beauty I
should let go?"
My heart never consider. Like a burden to me, the tale is yet sealed, the writer was too ready to grip a pen, the ink was yet desiccated; from where should come plain sheet to tell this through ink?
It happens like this everyday, it is religiously complicated to control everytime. They told the story but not one could tell it clearly.
"How should I live with this?"
I tried to know but it never end. It came with painted feathers having the wings decked with beauty. Not again should I be your victim but little did I know I was already called one.
"I choose to know you more than
here. How do I find you
different from here? I choose
my voice be heard with you
different from here. I choose
to talk to you from a place
never known about. Talk to
me how to find you there."
I felt her hands, soft and warm, they spoke romance but she hid from me words. My face downward, her shoe latchet were not perfectly knot. I squat and held her robes. Smile poured. To me, she has fallen but she would not tell those words. Slowly she came down as I and held me up. To me, that way was the best to say, "thanks."
"Like the queens from the
underworld, let me save few
notes of you in my pocket,
let me feel your fairness before
your feet bear you farther from
here."
No words she utter but smile was the only one true word she voiced before she travelled behind me. I watched her walked, the fair slim lady with golden hair, she return no eyes behind. At the sound of whistle, she returned and winked, but her feet never stable.
"What a beauty I have never seen
since my life!"
I was overwhelmed by the fragrance of smell. It created history of her within me. I deeply forgot to follow through her steps. I just woke out of feel I was unable to tell what it feels like. The only way I saw her branched was the only way I went through but could not find my way. The light of the day faded her shadow. Where the dark captured me, I made the bank of the river my bed.
She never mention her name.
"How do I ask after her?"
Descriptive thought emerged his mind. It was cold, so cold that he could wrap himself with no cover. The dark wore a different face. It looks like water troubled the sky to make way.
"What about where else to hide?
Why is the hiding place
hidden?" he uttered
rhetorically.
Water climbed down. His eyes searched around. A dude's boat was the image that fed his eyes. The dude only recall using it when he miss the river. He took himself up about to go make his bed, bead of water ran through a wide leaf and climbed down his back. His back was the field it made sport. His feet bore him near the boat. It was old for real ___ to its weaken age it grew. He got no choice of shelter to stay safe. He covered himself with the boat, yet, the wind found him.
"I didn't fight, it was never my
wish to fight but fight broke
out, " these words he forgot
before he woke into reality.
The rain was done acting after four hours. The water climbed another height.
Morning woke before him.
"Whenever you come off bed this early, your boat calls louder than I hear, " Charlie told.
"Far from my mind. Now you
include it in my diary of this
day, I will act it my first
agenda, " Pius said.
"Pops! " Charlie exclaimed.
His finger waved.
"No pops. That's what I have got
to do. I tried many times. Like
hell I did to resist the days of
my young to halt visiting this
my weak days but can't
because I got fire in my guts
and this is one of it, " Pius
lifted a foot.
"For real?" Charlie.
His face he gave behind was the word he told him. Charlie watched in silence.
"Always not different from the
man I know, " he said and
made some coffee.
His eyes opened. He smelt the fresh breath of the day.
"Morning came before me, " he
came out.
He stretched.
"Good day, everyone, " he bathed his face.
"My boat! You rented her? Who
put her that way?" Pius
queried.
A frightful glance.
"Uh... I think I did, " Richie
confessed.
"You think or you did?" Pius advanced to the boat.
"Your last words are true, " Richie.
"You shouldn't have left her this
way. At least, you should have
helped her up. She's injured.
Don't you know you hurt her?"
Pius told.
"I was about to but she's too weighty for me. I'm sorry, " Richie explained.
"She's my b***h. You should
have treated her with care. I
respect her so much because
she keeps me company
whenever I come to her, "
Pius.
"Like I said, I have no different
words from what I already told
you. Accept my apology, "
Richie.
"That's no good enough. Give me a hand to take her up. Be quick
enough. She's stayed too long
this way, "Pius urged.
The boat was helped in place. She was offered a swift sanitation "Whoa. Welcome back to life. It's
good to be with you after longer
days, " Pius kissed her.
Richie was watching and fed up of staying to himself. He was about tendering a comprehensive details of how he got there. Double picture of ladies filled his sight. Beauty of one collected his attention.
"For minutes, you have given me
no words. I like to know you
more than this may be the
journey of friendship can
commence from here. I don't
like friends. I hardly keep one
but in your case, I will like to
take you one, " Pius was
rubbing the boat.
Silence governed. He stared at him.
"Quarrel time or friendship?
Which preferable option is your
decision for me?" Pius waited.
Silence gave response. He channelled a glance at him. He saw distraction. He turned south. The feet of beauties were buried in the water.
"Your distraction is here and you
gave me silence. You should
have mentioned, " Pius hit with
his elbow.
He woke from imagination.
"I'm here. Sorry I went too far from here, " Richie.
"You are sorry for nothing that
worth no apology. Beauty
governed your attention. It is
right for any man ___ I mean, a
lonely man as you are, " Pius.
"Old dude, the way I see it, it's not a good time with us, " Richie dropped a foot.
"Oh! Now I understand you
better than I should know you.
I'm comfortable with my b***h, "
Pius.
"Excuse me, lady, " Richie claimed the attention of one.
"What help does handsome
needs me for?" Rita washed her
belbow.
"According to my thought, it's
not really a help but a help
somehow, " he watched.
"Name your terms, " she faced the
other way.
"I miss my way on a search for a
lady. Do you know her? Can
you tell the way her feet carried
her?" his eyes stabled on her.
A swift turn.
"Impossible! How do you want me know a lady with no name? How do you think I should know her without meeting her?" she stared shockingly.
"I don't know her by name but I
know her by description, " he
came out of confusion.
Pius shook head and whispered.
"Unbelievable!"
"Okay. Say some word about her, " she tabled a request.
"She is chubby, fair, a bit tall with
golden hair and blue eye balls.
Is she someone you should
know? Is she that woman you
have ever known my soul know
no stability to know?" he
verified.
"Hm. You can find her farther from
here because such a lady was never created to this planet, " Charity answered.
"I don't get it. Do you get me?" he advanced.
"I have met none lady alike your
description since my stay in
this planet, " Rita explained.
"Do you have the name of the
planet?" he pleaded.
"If I do, why should I choose to forget it?" Charity.
"One day will lead you to the
planet she stays, " Rita
pledged.
"I wish one day is today we should not stay off each other, " he hoped.
Shouty laughter from behind. He turned at him.
"The fool, right?" Richie.
"The way I see it, she is
someone you should love and
be in love with, " Pius stabled
his eyes on him.
"Do I really need you to say something, old dude?" Richie distracted him.
"Neither do I need you to worry
over the invisible. It's not worth
fighting for. Let the p***y lie
as it always tell lies, " Pius.
