Alexander didn't want me to go. "It's too risky," he said for the tenth time as we stood in the garage. "Jax is in a hospital bed, barely alive," I replied. "If he's involved, I need to see it for myself." He ran a hand through his hair, frustrated. "Take Marcus and three enforcers at least." "Two," I bargained.
