Golden Cage

Part Thirteen

-"You didn't think that you will stay in that room forever, did you?" he amusingly asked.

-"No, but" I had no idea what to say, "So you are not mad at me or getting rid of me?"

-"Alynora, you never crossed me as stupid"

-"sorry, i had to ask" I whispered. 

-"Come here", I didnt want to leave the bed, it was the most comfortable thing i ever sat on in my life, but i got up and walked towards the bar.

-"Do you want to try some?" he asked and twirled the glass with its content in front me of.

How did he know that i never drank is beyond me.

-"Master I am only 17"

-"I didnt ask you how old you are kitten, I asked if you wanted to try?"

I blushed and lowered my eyes "no master thank you"

I kept my eyes to the ground and asked him "Master can i ask few questions?"

He was silent for a few seconds and i started to worry that he will just ignore me. "You never asked me any when you were inside the room, why now?"

Good point, very good point. "Well I thought, that since you brought me here, then.."

"Then you will have your freedom back and we can through the rules out of the window?" he asked in a very calm voice. To calm. Dangerously calm.

-"No its just that I..."

-"Just cause you are here and not there DOESNT change a thing" while saying that he put down the glass and walked towards me, I started taking a steps back till i reached the wall. His hand snaked around my neck and pushed my face up so i was looking at him.

-"I am and will always be your master, no matter where you are here or in the underground, my rules stay the same, disobey me and you will always be punished, slave, am I clear?"

-"Yes master" I whispered. 

His hold on my neck tightened and his face came closer to the bite mark, he sucked it till he was satisfied and then he pulled back and went back to the bar, picked up his glass and sat in the chair.

-"Come and sit here"

I almost ran to the chair, not wishing to push him any further. Once i sat down and sneaked a peak at him, he was rolling a cig.

-"You can ask as many questions as you want, but some i wont answer"

-"Yes master"

-"Before you do, go to the bar and grab yourself some juice or water, its in the cabinet under the sink"

I opened the mentioned cabinet, oh it was a mini fridge. It was full with juices and fizzy drinks but i didnt find any water.

-"Master where is the water bottles?"

-"None, the water from the sink is clean, the s**t the plastic bottles do to the earth is f****d up"

I grabbed an orange juice, my favorite and filled myself a huge glass of water. Once I put down my stuff, I sat down.

-"mmm if you hate plastic bottles, why did you bring them to me?"

-"Because the water in the sink in that bathroom wasn't clean and I didn't risk to give you anything glass related"

-"Oh okay"

-"Thats it?" he asked me with a small smile

-"Oh no,,,," we stayed quite for a bit, "Why me?" I whispered 

-"Because you are my mate"

-"What is a mate?"

-"Well, my kind"

-"Whats your kind?"

-"I am a demon, but some cultures think of us as a gods, but we are one of the most powerful kinds out there, you see"

-"there are other kinds?"

-"Yes of course, you humans are so blind and ignorant sometimes, there are around..."

-"And you have magical powers and stuff?"

-"Well yes.."

-"Are there werewolves?"

-"Yes but they...."

-"Vampires ?"

-"ALYANORA!!!! One damn question at a time!" he was annoyed .

-"Sorry, i just got excited"

-"So which question, you want me to answer first"

-"The mate question"

-"Okay,, its going to be along answer so sit back and relax"

Long long time ago, no one even knows when exactly, two gods fell in love with each other. The dark and light phoenix, but they couldn't be together, because there was a prophecy which said, that a son of theirs will cause an eternal darkness upon all worlds, so they were banned from being together.

They captured each of the phoenix and put them in their own prisons, far far away from each other and no one knew where these prisons are, because the warlocks who created them, killed themselves afterwards. This secret was lost forever, or so they thought. 

The white phoenix grew weaker and weaker, each moment she was away from her beloved, till once she no longer could stand and was laying there on the ground and tears were the only sign of her life.

Every tear she dropped, rain kept pouring and pouring on the all worlds, and the warm of the sun was forgotten for many years.

The dark phoenix was not only put in a prison but also had chains holding him all over his body, they feared him the worse, because his powers couldn't be compared to anything in the entire universe. The chains left red marks around his wrests and legs, from the struggling of breaking free. 

But as years passed, he gave any hope of escaping and if anyone had the chance to look at him, they would see an old man, very thin and weak sitting in the corner and humming some melody.

Till one day, he felt that his beloved is losing her life, he felt it in his heart that she was slowly passing away from this life, he felt her pain and her sorrow, he felt life slowly drowning away from her. That awakened something in him that he thought he forever lost, something that no one knew about. The darkness inside of him started growing and whoever had a chance to look at him would have seen as dust was falling around the old man and beneath the dust a young strong man was starting to show, the white hair fall and black long hair appeared in its place and they would have heard a scream , a scream that held so much pain that hearts would break. Scream that held so pain that it broke the chain!

They would have seen, that the man would slowly get up and powerful wave would break from him and tear down every stone that created his prison. They would have seen how huge cloud of dust would surround the place and how a globe of darkness would come out of it and inside the globe they would see man, whose beauty was never seen before.

Hair as black as the night, chest and arms full of ancient tattoos and eyes glowing with so much anger and darkness that everything around him would run away in hopes of saving their lives. They would have seen how wings would appear behind his back, black huge strong wings, which in a single wave would destroy cites and then they would have seen how these same wings took the man away.

He knew where his beloved was, for his love was guiding him to her and no matter how hard the warlocks tried to protect her prison, they failed in front of love as strong as his.

He flew and flew, faster than the light till he reached it. The place where they kept his beloved. He summoned all of his powers and tore down every stone, every nail that held him away from his love. But what he saw, killed him.

His beautiful love, was laying on the ground, surrounded by flowers, the flowers that were the same color as his eyes, red. He called her but she didnt answer.

He screamed her name, she didnt answer.

He took her hand, kissed her but she didnt answer.

So at the end, he took her in his arms and flew away from this place.

He flew to the one place in universe which no one knew about, he flew to the darkness. 

Once he was there, he created walls so huge and strong that no army could break. He created a castle so beautiful that no architect could recreate it and he grew a forest as beautiful as his beloved once dreamt about. A forest full of trees and singing birds, full of rivers and flowers, full of tasty berries and lakes.

He walked to one of the lakes, which had flowers above it and sat down with his beloved.

He started humming a melody, their melody.

The white phoenix heard something beautiful, a beautiful sound was reaching her in her deep sleep, she started to walk towards the sound, slowly walking fearing that it might be another trap.

But when she opened her eyes, she saw the most beautiful dream, she was still dreaming but her dream turned into a beautiful one.

-"My love, I have died and now i am in heaven "

-"No my love, you didnt die"

-"Then how?"

-"I felt that you were dying, and something inside of me broke, it gave me back the power i thought i long time lost and the power that returned to me was so much stronger that i had ever had"

-"The power of love"

-"Yes and the same power lead me to you"

She lovingly kissed him. The kiss held so much emotions, from forgiveness to  pain to happiness.

They sat like that for days, just hugging each other.

-"Where are we darling?"

-"In the darkness, my love, where no one can reach us, this time no one will ever take you away from me" he angerly said and hugged her harder.

-"This time we will be prepared" she said and kissed him into calmness.

They were true to their words. Many attacked them, trying to separate them again, for no one dared to kill them because no one knew what would their deaths cause to the universe. 

But the walls never gave in and they managed to kill everyone who attacked them. They didnt have any mercy for them when they separated them and locked them away, why should they have one now?

After a lot of time passed, everyone gave up. Time flew and they were happy. 

-"My love, i have a surprise for you"

-"What is it?" the man asked and hugged her from behind

-"You will be a father"

The joy that they felt that day couldn't be describes. Months flew by and her pregnancy was as smooth as honey and then the baby was born.

A beautiful baby boy.

-"He has your eyes" the man said, "Grey with a sparkle of gold"

-"A red gold" she replied, "just like yours"

-"What about the prophecy my love?" the man worryingly asked, while holding the baby and rocking it to sleep.

-"I took care of it already"

-"How?"

-"Once i knew i was pregnant, i created a soul mate for every creature that will ever walk this universe. Whenever anyone is born, a mate bond will be born with them and they will never be whole till they find their other half"

-"And have the same love that we have"

-"Yes"

-"But how will that solve the prophecy, our son will cause an eternal darkness"

-"He will not, because he will not be whole without his mate"

-"So once he finds his mate, he will become whole and with that the prophecy will come true"

-"No, because then he will have the love and love defeats all"

The man sarcastically laughed, "Your naivness will never bore me"

-"Her love for him will calm his inner darkness"

-"Oh yes, unless something happens to her"

-"Your optimism always brightens my day", and with that they quietly laughed so not to wake their son

I sat back and moved my juice bottle between my hands.

-"What happened to their son?" even though i knew the answer or at least i thought so, I just had to ask.

-"He walked thousands and thousands of years and never found her, until.."

-"Until master?"

He took a drag from his cig and stared at me, with his beautiful grey eyes that have a little red gold in them.

-"Until three months ago"
