Golden Cage

Part Fourteen

We sat in silence.

Till my stomach decided to make its presence known.

-"Let's go eat"

He took my hand and walked out of the room, we entered a corridor and at the other side were other doors, closed so I had no idea what was there. Stairs appeared at the other end too, we walked down and a huge beautiful living rook came into my view.

A huge L couch was there with a table behind it and bunch of stuff on it, there were two recliner chairs and a huge TV. Another bar was there near the glass windows, and windows were full wall windows, the bar was huge and had chairs around it and a round table, there was a huge double doors on the other side and near those doors were a wall, like a separator, but the wall was made of foggy glass. We walked towards the foggy glass wall and turned behind it, only to see a five stars kitchen. It was any chiefs dream kitchen. It had all the newest technologies and it was a metal theme with a round table and huge kitchen island. 

The kitchen's window were overlooking a garden and a pool.

-"I will show you everything around later, now lets eat", he walked to the fridge and opened it.

-"Can I cook ?"

-"You know how to cook?"

-"Oh I am the best" I jokingly said

-"Sure go ahead" he had a small smile on his face.

I went to the fridge and pulled out everything that i needed for a pasta and seafood. I love to cook, ever since i was a kid. First it was my hobby then turned into another house chore, but i never hated it. It calmed me down.

-"So you said your kind?"

-"Yes, my parents, they were the strongest but not the only ones, warlocks only managed to lock them up with the help of others from my kind"

-"So your kind is phoenix?"

-"No, we are demons, night creatures, night rules"

-"but your parents?"

-"They were the strongest and unique of their kind. demon phoenix" 

-"Where are they now?"

His face darkened for a bit, "Once everyone figured out that i was born, they attacked our home with more desire and earnest than they could ever remember. But my parents never gave in, so it was either find a solution or the battle will go on for centuries."

I made a drink from berries and lemon and poured him a glass.

-"You like it?"

He took a sip, "Yes I love it, its very good"

-"So master?"

-"I made a deal with them, I would rule the court, this way they will always see me and be sure that i wont snap and destroy everything"

I laughed and he looked at me questionly 

-"Whats to funny?"

-"Its just i fail to see the compromise, its like you honored them with ruling the court hehehe"

He gave me a wide smile

-"Well, it was either they accept it or die"

I returned to cooking

-"So your parents are still there?"

-"There?"

-"in the darkness?"

-"yes"

I continued cooking.

-"Is it normal to have a human mate?"

-"No, its very rare, that i only read five cases like these. In all the cases, the mating bond was very weak and the human mate was not treated as equally as if the mate was a demon and in some cases the demons just had kids with the human mate and then killed them and mated with demons"

I got depressed immediately

-"Is our bond weak?"

-"Surprisingly no"

-"oh, will you,, will you kill me ?"

-"No"

-"Isn't a mate a special thing ? a unique person?"

-"It is, but sometimes finding your mate takes so long or your mate die so you can mate with someone else of your choosing"

-"Why didnt you?" I asked all these question with my back to him, they barely came out as a whisper. I felt his hands circle my waits and he gave me a kiss on the mark

-"Because I only wanted my mate"

-"Would you, would I,,,,, would you have treated me differently if i was a demon?"

-"No, I dont need someone to rule with me, I need someone to be my mate, no more no less, so you are perfect for me" and he continued kissing me there, a small moaned broke from my lips.

He gave me a slap on my ass, "Go on cook"

I finished cooking in silence, while he was sitting on the round table, drinking and smoking. I looked for dishes and when i found them, i went and sat the table. 

I put the salad on the table and then the main dish and the drink that i made. I served him first, i dont know from where this came but it just felt natural and right, and apparently that please him cause he gave me a small smile.

We ate in silence for while.

-"This is very good,,, delicious" he said after a mouthful 

I giggled and blushed at his complement

-"You will be cooking from now on"

-"Yes master, I love to cook"

-"Good" he said around another mouthful.

I had a question in mind, but i didnt know how to ask it.

-"Master,,,, mmm I have a question?"

-"Yes?"

-"Whats your name ?" I asked with a blush

-"Azazel"

-"Azazel,,,," I tested it out on my tongue, "is it okay if I call you that?" I asked while blushing.

-"Yes"

I felt like a kid who got her fav candy, i jumped into his arms and kissed him on his cheek.

-"Thank you thank you soooo much master"

He laughed and hugged me back. When i tried to move back to my chair he just hugged me harder so i had no other option but to pull my plate over and eat the rest of the dinner on his lap.

Azazel watched her clean and tidy the kitchen, she fit perfectly there, in his shirt and humming a melody.

But in that moment fear took hold of his heart, for he knew if anything ever happened to her, hell will be unleashed.
