“Woo-hoo,” Sophie stood up and pointed at the reserved seat. Will looked suitably embarrassed and slunk down the row, eliciting a few tuts along the way.
“Where was I?” Tarquin scratched his head, “yes, welcome, welcome everybody. So from myself and the rest of the English staff, we want to say a big well done to you all. You are working hard and we're impressed. This year's batch of students are showing great promise.” He glanced at Sophie, “we're almost at the end of this school year, just a few months left, so keep up the good work and if you need any help or advice, please come to us. In fact, I do recommend that you all have chats with your personal tutors, they can help guide you and assist with your progress. That's what we're paid for, so please, come say hello, we don't bite.”
