Chapter FiveThe library was busier than normal on Monday morning, especially the line to the self-service machines. Students queued to return books which had been borrowed over the weekend. Some people were grumbling about the fines they accumulated if their books were overdue. Others chatted about their weekend; the parties they had attended, family time away from study, books and essays. Juliette was standing near the front, trying to converse with an extremely distracted Will. “Are you okay?” She asked, wondering why he looked as if he had no sleep. “What?” He ran a hand through his already perfectly tousled hair. “Have you had a good weekend Will?” “It's been okay,” he lied, gritting his teeth, “what about you?” “Oh yes, I went to Sophie's, remember I told you ten minutes ago.” “
