Chapter FourAnn had been hunched over the kitchen table for two hours now. Her back was aching and her fingers were sore. “Have a break,” her husband Jon suggested, as he finished off ironing his sports t-shirt. Ann nodded, closed her books with a resounding bang and pushed away her writing pad. She watched as her pen rolled across the table, coming to stop at the edge of a crystal vase full of beautiful, multi coloured flowers. They were a present from Jon, not for anything in particular, just a plain you are my wife and I love you type of token.
