**Ms. Lykins' POV***
I move over and sit on his stomach placing my hands on his cheeks.
"Baby look at me. You're home now. I could feel that you weren't dead. I don't know how I knew that it was you this morning when I felt someone watching me. But I knew. I just couldn't look at you. I didn't know what I'd see in those deep blue eyes of yours." I whisper softly.
He pulls my face down to his and kisses my lips tenderly. I kiss him back a little harder and he pulls away smiling at me.
"Honey you have all the time in the world for that. But we need to be patient. I'm not as confident as I was that night. Not in that area anyway." He finishes quietly.
I lean down and kiss him slowly.
"Baby just like that night we can go as slow as we need to." I whisper.
"Was it really that memorable for you?" He whispers.
"You tell me. We have a daughter from that night." I answer softly.
He kisses me pationately and gently flips us over. He slides his hands to my blouse and starts unbuttoning it slowly. I run my fingers through his hair and feel his lips trail from my neck down to my chest. We remove my blouse and things pick up from there. It's all a mix of longing, love, passion, regret, and so many emotions that it's all a blur. We both fall asleep in the others arms.

I wake up to my head on his chest and pinch myself to see if it's a dream. I hear him chuckle.
"Don't pinch yourself love. It's not a dream. I'm really here and we really did." He answers.
I look up at him and kiss him tenderly.
"God I missed you." I whisper.
He pulls me close and holds me tight.
"I know. I'm so sorry babe. I shouldn't have left. It was the childish thing to do. But I've grown up since then." He says lowly.
I look up at him and bite my lip to hold back my tears. He wipes away the few tears that escaped. I just snuggle my face into his chest and take in his scent.
"I should probably get ready to pick up Evangelina." I mumble.
"Honey shower first then we pick up our little girl." He says.
"Really?" I ask quietly.
"Of course love. I told you I wanna meet her and be there for her and you. And make up for lost time." He says.
I laugh softly and smile at him.
"You've got a lot to make up for. She's close to three now." I answer.
"Yeah I bet she's got a lot to say." He whispers.
"She's intelligent for her age. She always knows why I'm crying at night. Or when we go by your place." I whisper.
"What does she know about me?" He asks.
"Just that you're her dad and before I could tell you about her, you had to go away for a family emergency." I whisper.
"She asks about me?" He asks.
"Every day." I answer.
"What do you tell her when she asks if she can talk to me?" He asks.
"I explain to her that it was so serious you forgot your phone and couldn't come back for stuff. You couldn't afford to get a new one either." I answer.
"You thought of everything." He whispers adoringly.
"Mostly." I whisper.
"Does she know how we met?" He asks.
I laugh softly and nod.
"She knows you were my student and that it was love at first sight. She knows that we got into a huge fight before you left too." I whisper.
"Go clean up. I wanna see my little girl." He says gently.
"Come with me?" I whisper.
"Only cleaning up. But yes I'll come with you my love." He answers.
We get up and go shower. He nudges me to his closet and I pick out an outfit. I smile at the outfit I chose. It was the same outfit I wore the first time I stayed over. I step out and see him slipping on a T-shirt and lose my breathe at how muscular he became over the years. Something occurs to me suddenly.
"Honey?" I say softly.
He looks up at me and smiles.
"It happened during those years I was gone. My body changed more. I didn't have to get them removed like I was thinking about all those years ago." He answers.
I smile and go up to him. He holds me close to him.
"I'm glad you're home baby." I whisper.
"Me too. Let's go get our baby." He says.
I laugh and meet him at the car. He opens my door for me like the gentleman he is and helps me in. He gets in and I instruct him where to go to pick up our little girl. We pull up and he shuts off the car and sits there for a moment. I smile and get out.
"I'll go get her." I say.
He nods.
