Chapter 1
*** Tyler's POV***
I wake up to my alarm clock going off and I get up. I shut it off and make my way to my shower. I quickly shower and style my hair into my usual spike and go into my closet. I put on my favorite button up shirt over my sports bra and find my favorite jeans. I quickly throw them on over my boxers and slip on my shoes. I make my way to the door and grab my leather jacket out of the closet and grab my bag. I slip on the jacket and start walking to school. I plug in my ear buds and walk to school.
I only have to walk a couple blocks and I'm at the school. I slip into the office and see a paper on the counter. I look at it and sigh in relief when I see it's my schedule. I make my way to my first and only class of the day before my CACC class. I watch the class numbers and bump into someone. I stumble backwards until I feel a gentle hand on my arm. Despite having my jacket on I get chills from the touch. I look up and I'm looking into the most stunning blue eyes I've ever seen. The wierdest thing is I feel like I knew her.
"Sorry." I say nervously.
To my surprise she giggles.
"No it's my fault for not paying attention. Are you alright?" She says.
I nod my head and look at my schedule.
"I'm looking for room number 12." I say.
She looks at me and I get nervous.
"That's my class. You are?" She says.
I look at her and take a deep breath.
"Tyler ma'am." I say.
"Well Tyler we better get to class. I'm Ms. Lykins by the way." She says.
I nod and follow her to class. I look at the desks and feel her watching me closely.
"Assigned seats?" I ask.
"No. You may sit any where. You're the first one here." She says.
I look at my watch and realize I'm early.
"Could you show me where the cafeteria is please? I didn't eat breakfast before going out the door." I say nervously.
She looks up from her desk and I feel stupid.
"Sure. Follow me please." She says.
"Thank you Ms. Lykins." I say quietly.
She smiles and walks ahead of me. I watch her walk and regret that choice. She looks over her shoulder and catches me observing her figure.
"Tyler." She says softly.
"Yes ma'am?" I answer.
"You're a senior?" She asks.
"Yes ma'am."
We reach the cafeteria and I go get my food. I see she's still there. I skeptically walk up to her.
"You can eat in my classroom this morning." She says.
I nod my head and follow her to class. I see she has shoulder length black hair, wearing black skinny jeans thst really show off her curves, a panic at the disco band tshirt and a purple beanie sticking out of her back pocket.
We get back to her classroom and I sit in the back of the classroom. I feel her looking in my direction and I get uneasy.
"May I help you with something Ms. Lykins?" I ask.
"I'm simply confused on why you chose to sit in the back corner of my classroom." She says.
I swallow hard and look at her.
"Is that a problem ma'am?" I ask.
"No. I suppose not." She answers.
"I just don't like being around other students that I don't know. I feel better when I sit in the corner." I answer.
At that exact moment the bell rings, ending this conversation. I can't shake the feeling of knowing her.
