***Ms. Lykin's POV***
I don't hear from him. But I know he read it. I can't sleep too well because I'm worried. I end up finally dozing off around three in the morning.

I wake up to my alarm going off and check my phone instantly. No response from him. I drag myself out of bed and get dressed for the day. I don't even get coffee this morning. I make my way to school and go to my classroom. I put the assignment up on the board and sit down at my desk. I hear the door open and see him standing there and he looks like he had a rough night. I start to stand up and he glares at me.
"Don't do it Ms. Lykins." He says emotionlessly.
I stand up anyway and approach the front of my desk.
"Are you attending school drunk Mr. Jade?" I ask coolly despite falling to pieces internally.
He barks out a laugh and smiles.
"What's it matter to you Rachel? I did it all the f*****g time before you." He sneers.
He goes to his seat and I bite my lip. Hard. His words hurt.
"If you must know. Yeah I'm hungover. It's my way of coping. I had a couple drinks." He says coldly.
I see the tears in his eyes and know it's all my fault.
"I'm sorry Tyler." I whisper knowing he'll hear me.
I hear him scoff from his seat and I know he doesn't believe me.
"I love you." I whisper from my seat at my desk.
"Yeah sure you do." He grumbles from his seat and stares at his screen. He types vigorously on the keypad and turns in the assignment earlier than he normally does. He closes his computer and stares out the window. The bell rings and I speak up.
"Stay after class Tyler." I say sternly.
He growls lowly and puts his laptop away then approaches my desk.
"I have a bus to catch on top of having nothing to say to you." He answers.
"We need to discuss this." I answer softly.
I reach for his hand and he doesn't even react.
"Consider this me ending things before you lose your precious job." He sneers quietly.
He jerks his hand away from me and slams the door behind him. I flinch in my seat and go to the door. I go out to the back parking lot and sit on the curb and just let the tears fall. I hear footsteps approaching and flinch as I hide my face.
