Chapter Twenty-Three Milo The next morning, a large man dressed in white came with a cart and metal food trays. The smell was heavenly, especially since I hadn't eaten since the morning before. The man had no hair and seemed almost too clean. His shirt strained against his large arms and chest, his eyes gleamed, but his face was void of expression. "Where are we?" I asked him. He didn't answer me. "Step away from the door," he said coldly. I hesitated. "Fine. Don't eat," he scoffed, and started to turn. I quickly stepped back as he’d asked, and he unlocked the gate and set the tray on the floor. He closed and locked it again. "Please, tell me, what's going on here?" I asked again.
