I find him near the training grounds, staring right ahead, seemingly lost in thoughts.
I don't know why but he somehow looks distant with his posture.
"Kieran," I call out, approaching. "I need to speak with you."
Kieran doesn't even look at me. "I'm busy." He replies.
I expected him to react that way after last night. Can I even blame him?
"It's important.” I say hoping that will capture his attention. It doesn't and I sigh in frustration.
"Kieran, please…”
"I said I'm busy." This time he does look at me with a glare, his expressions cold and distant.
The current him looks nothing like the concerned ally from last night. "If you need something, take it up with the Alpha." He declares, turning around and ignoring me.
The dismissal stings. "I just need a moment…” I star
