"I'm pregnant!" Emily Dawson didn't expect this surprise to come so quickly! If Ryan Carter found out about it, he would definitely be even happier than she was. Emily was so excited that she couldn't help pacing back and forth in the bedroom with the pregnancy report clutched in her hands. "You're pregnant? Whose child is it?" A sarcastic voice suddenly rang in her ear, and the pregnancy report was snatched out of her hands. Whose child was it? Emily was stunned. The girl who snatched her pregnancy report was her half-sister, Chloe Dawsons. How could she not know that this child was Ryan's? With a cold smile on her face, Chloe said, "Emily, you couldn't possibly have gotten pregnant because of what happened that night at Star World Hotel on July 13th, right?" Emily was shocked to hear that and blurted, "How would you know that? Did Ryan tell you?" July 13th was indeed the day that Emily and her newlywed husband,Ryan, consummated their wedding. Ryan was the one who chose the location, which was Star World Hotel. When she arrived at the hotel room, she was greeted with flower petals showered over the carpet, which was so romantic and beautiful... Chloe said with a smile, "How would I know? Ha! Did you think that the man from that night was Ryan? Actually, it wasn't. In fact, the man who was with you on July 13th at Star World Hotel was someone Ryan and I arranged. That night, after drinking the tea I've prepared for you, you were so enthusiastic towards that man.” Emily's brain felt like it had exploded. How... How could that be possible? She refused to believe it! "Emily, the child you're carrying... It isn't Ryan's. Since you're so upset, how about I give you a hand in getting rid of it?" Chloe offered. Chloe forced the stunned Emily to retreat until her back was against the wall. Suddenly, she reached out, grabbed Emily's shoulders, and pressed her body downward. Chloe then bent her right leg upward and ruthlessly kneed Emily in the abdomen. With a sharp pain rocking through her body, Emily instinctively pushed Chloe away, who then fell to the floor with a thud. "Chloe? Are you okay?" Ryan suddenly rushed in through the door and crouched down to help Chloe up. He didn't bother to help her. Instead, he was accusing her because of Chloe! "Ryan, Emily's pregnant with that man's child, but she doesn't want to keep it and was forcing me to help her get rid of it. How would I dare do that?" Chloe said. Chloe immediately burst into tears. She looked pitiful and powerless, as though she was the person in the wrong. Ryan was caught off guard. He looked up at Emily and asked, "You're pregnant?” Emily saw a flash of excitement in his eyes and instantly felt cold to the core as if she had fallen into an ice pit. "Ryan, what do you mean by that?" she said. Ryan's eyes flashed. After pondering for a moment, he said, "Look, Emily. On the night of July 13th, at Star Mate Hotel, the man that was in room 5534 was Mr. Whitmore." "Emily, right now, I'm just the deputy general manager in one of the subsidiaries of Whitmore Group. Mr. Whitmore however, is in charge of the whole Whitmore Group. With you having spent just one night with him,I'll be able to move up to the position of general manager,"Ryan said. Emily's face ravaged with despair. She felt the man before her familiar yet so much like a stranger. With trembling lips, she asked, "So, you and Chloe worked together to get me into that man's bed that night?" Ryan looked her in the eyes and nodded, "Emily, I graduated from university three years ago, but now, I'm only the deputy general manager of a subsidiary of Whitmore Group. Do you know how frustrated I've been all these years? ”Ryan had a lot to say for himself. He proceeded to say how much effort he had put in just to get into Whitmore Group even before he graduated. He also expressed how tough it had been for him these past three years, how excruciating it was, and how he refused to accept his current situation. He continued talking about how, at their wedding, he noticed that Mr. Whitmore had stolen glances on a Emily a few times. At that moment, he knew that his opportunity had come. Thus, he 'had no choice' but to give her up. She was a virgin anyway, and he knew Mr. Whitmore would enjoy that. Finally, he said, "Emily, I even fought with my parents back then and turned my back on everybody who objected just so I could marry you. Can't you just do this one thing for me, and give birth to a child for Mr.Whitmore.
