Chapter 10: Sweet Little Gabriella

Max POV***

    "Ugh Come on Ryland why every time we back to California you wanna get In N Out right off the f*****g plane." he shrugs. "Because we live in Washington and there isn't an In N Out over there". "Shut up Ryland you already know Maxie pooh wants to go to Gatsby's so obviously we are gonna go there". Thomas said with a laugh. "Call me Maxie Pooh one more damn time and I'll text your sister". I said with a smirk as Thomas eyes widened. "The moment you text my sister the moment you lose your balls". I laughed. We all got our bags from baggage claim. We got into our uber, "Where are we going to stay?" I hear Ryland say.

    "We are going to stay in the Resort but we gotta go see my mom first". I say as Ryland nods. "What are we gonna do tonight?" Thomas says with a smirk. "We can go to the Electric Club tonight?" They both nod. After the Uber dropped us off at the Resort we grab our bags and go to the front desk, and see my personal favorite Gus. "Hey Guys you have any Penthouses left?" He looks up and smiles. "Let me check, how long are you staying?" I turn to the guys and Thomas holds up two fingers. "We are staying for two weeks''. I say and smile.  He nods and Hands us three key cards ``You will be staying in Dawn's old Penthouse" wait doesn't Gabby live there because I Know she doesn't live with my mom anymore. I take the key cards ``But didn't Gabriella move in?" he shakes his head. "She moved out 2 years, she comes here often but doesn't live here". I nod  "Can you take our bags up to the room I have to go see my mom?" He nods as I make my way to the elevator. 

    "Who's Gabriella?" Thomas  asked. "She's the one girl that I hurt the most and lost because I was too worried about what people thought at my school". I looked down as they both laughed. "You're whipped and a douche". Ryland said I rolled my eyes as the elevator dinged open. I saw a waiter from Gatsby's leave my mom's apartment and I smiled. "Of course she would order Gatsby's for breakfast". We walk down the hallway and I open the door to see my mom putting the food on the plates. She smiles and looks up and her smile goes away. "What are you doing here????" she says. I give my mom a weird look. "Ummm I came home to see my mom". She gives me a cut of your bullshit look. "Fine the college we are out had us go home because there was a mold break out in the dorms''. She rolls her eyes "You need to leave she says as she tries to push me out the door. I hear footsteps as I turn the side and see a much older, much hotter Gabriella standing there.

    Gabriella looks still looks like the nice girl she was 4 years ago. I smile , "Why the f**k are you wearing a black leather Jacket when it's 88 outside you look like a d**k". My smile fads as Gabriella Smirks and winks at Thomas. She's wearing a black Led-Zeppelin t-shirt and shorts with black converse and she makes that outfit look hot. She grabs a some sausage and waffle and put it in a napkin she smiles, "Thanks Ava for breakfast I won't be home after School I am going to be going to the shop with Dustin". She smiles and I feel my fist tighten. She walks out of the penthouse and I turn to my mom who is smiling. "Thats my f*****g girl". My mom says. 

    "what happened to sweet little Gabby?" My mom's smile fades "She's gone, she doesn't trust people, she doesn't talk to me about her issues and lastly she parties way too much". I feel my chest tighten. It's my fault.........

Gabriella POV***

    I walk out of the Penthouse and smirk. He came back. I've tried to avoid him for the longest and I knew this moment would come and I thought I would be scared but I am not scared. I am annoyed that he's back. His friend friend with the blonde hair is very attractive, might have a little talk with him later who knows. I walk into the garage and throw away my napkin in the trash. I got into my 2020 Toyota 86, its black, Angelo bought it for me when we first started dating around January this year, but we ended things because he ended up meeting the love of his life in France and I couldn't stand in the way of that. He tried to stay with me but he wasn't happy he wanted to be Alice and she wanted to be with him but I was in the way so blah blah blah blah. 

    It's a soppy love story and now they are dating and currently living in Italy. I am still hurt by the fact that he cheated on me but it's whatever, he's happy now I always stand in the way of people I feel like. I start my car and begin to drive to school. When I arrive at school and park in the front next to Dustin's jeep. "Hey dusty" I say as I walk out of my car and lock it. I run and jump into his arms and hug him. "Hey Ella" he says as he puts me down. "Did you get your schedule already?" I smirked as he nodded and handed me one also. "I grabbed yours too". I put my hand over my heart "You're so kind how will I ever repay you". I bat my eyelashes and he pushes me away and laughs. "DUSTIN" I hear and I turn around and see Brooke walking towards us. 

    I roll my eyes and smile at Dustin who gives me the look if I walk away. I blow him a kiss and walk towards the school. I put my keys into my bag and opened my locker and put my bag in it and took out a notebook, a Pen and a pencil.  I walk into my First class which is Gov and Eco and sit down near the back. Dustin walks in and sits next to me and gives me a dirty look. I laugh as Mrs.Ruby enters the room. 

    After that class me and Dustin walk towards my locker. "I didn't think Mrs.Ruby would be so boring for how hot she is". I open my locker and give Dustin a disgusting look. "Gross" I pull my phone out of my back pocket and see a text message from a random number "We need to talk". I shake my head and put it away. "Are we still on after school?" Dustin asked and I smirked and touched his chest and whispered in his ear. "Yes in your jeep or your house because my house is being renovated" he smiles and whispers "In my jeep because i want you to ride me today and I have practice after school". He licks my ear and walks away. Ahhh I love having a friend with benefits.
