Chapter Twenty-Eight
We are standing in a big open field, and the fortress seems quite small on the horizon. Shane and I went here by horse, while I was contacting Lilly. He is dying to meet her. “Where are you?” I ask her impatiently, since we have been waiting for about an hour already. “Pretty far away”, she says simple. I take a minute, hoping that she will clarify, but she does not. “Shane wants to see you”, I push her. “Fly faster!” I hear her giggle inside of my head, and try to push down a grin on my own face. Today is such an amazing, and wonderful day. The weather is wonderful, there’s sunshine and a clear blue sky. This morning right before sun-up, Jonathan snuck out of my room.
