The authorities steps in

After the bloody event that happened, authorities have decided to step in an investigate the reason for the countless dead bodies lying on the entrance of the portal. “There are some that had signs of getting stepped on and there are others that are showing signs of fighting. Some of them had they throats slit while some died due to a foreign object piercing through their bodies.” One of the authorities says to the head after examining the dead bodies.

              “Signs of fighting huh? Was there any people that stayed here during that time?” the head ask the other one but the man shook his head. “The people are terrified of the monsters that squashed most of the people that entered here yesterday so they did not dare to come near the portal, though there are reports of people seen getting out of the portal.” The head then nods his head and sits in a nearby tree.

              “That is decided then, we are going to look for that person. Maybe he has seen something.” The head says while the others are piling up the bodies and ready to transport them back. A few hours later and they found themselves standing in front of Xerxes’ shop. “Is this the place? I heard this place accepts some high level commissions.” The head says to his subordinates who agrees that they have indeed heard some news about this place.

              “Yes sir, the witnesses saw that the man named Xerxes got out of the portal covered in blood yesterday. Maybe he is connected to the killings.” The head then takes a deep breathe after hearing what his subordinate said. “If that’s the case then I guess this is inevitable.”

              KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

              The head knocks on the door and it opens almost automatically and reveals Berto’s huge body. The head as well as the other authorities then almost jolt away after seeing Berto. ‘What the hell is this guy? He is- huge.’ The head tells himself as Berto welcomes them to their shop. “Good day, valued costumers. Please get inside.”  Berto says as he opens the door for them.

              The authorities then enters and sees that the shop has a pleasant atmosphere. “What is it that we can help you with?” Britt asked them, they look at each other before they ask. “Is there are person named Xerxes here? Is it possible to see him? There are some  certain things that we want to ask him.” The head says to Britt who then turns to Berto. “I’ll talk to the boss about that but before everything. Can you tell me something about it first? I can’t just call on the boss for nothing you see.” Britt ask and  the head immediately responded.

              “It was about the incident yesterday. That’s all I an say.” Britt’s face then lightens up after hearing the reason and gladly walks out of he lobby. And a few moments later, he returns with Xerxes slightly drenched in sweat. “Sorry, I was in the middle of training when my employee called me. I hope you did not wait long.” Xerxes says as he wipes himself from the sweat. ‘Is he really  the person involved with the deaths of those people?’ the head ask himself after seeing Xerxes in person.
