Xerxes recovered from his injuries after only a few days of rest which baffled the doctor that treated his wounds. “Are you sure that you are fine? The wound might have closed but the injuries inside might still be lingering. Do you feel discomfort or pain anywhere?” the doctor asks and Xerxes shakes his head deliberately. “I don’t feel any pain at all doc, I‘m quite baffled as well. Are humans like this at all?” the doctor stares at him with disappointment.

              “If you feel fine then go, shoo!” the doctor kicks him off the chair in anger. “See you again doc!” Xerxes said as he waves his goodbye while the doctor curse at him. “Come back here if you’re a corpse, I’ll dissect you myself!” Rupert and Ramirez burst in laughter after hearing what the doctor had said. “That’s hilarious, if that’s the case master, we should not visit this clinic again.” Ramirez said and Xerxes shakes his head. “We cant do that. I was the one that made fun of the doctor so it’s understandable.”

              The three then returned to the shop after the check up to get ready for the new set of commissions that they received. “Don’t you think this is still too soon boss? The wound just closed up recently. It still has the tendency to open up you know.” Britt says out of concern but Xerxes tells him that he’s fine. “I’m quite a sturdy guy, I won’t bite the dust that easily.” Samantha and the others then readies their luggage while the boys are chatting at each other. “These are everything that you need. I have packed a medical kit in case the wound opens up, Sir Xerxes, if I may ask. Why must you need to bring that much food? Are you feeding an entire tribe?” Samantha asks as the three looks at each other. “We made some friends on the other side you know so we are giving them gifts. They also are responsible for our fast returns so there is no need to worry about the food. It will go directly in their mouth.” He replies as the other employees wonder what kind of humanoid race they were able to befriend.

              “What kind of race are they boss?” Cynthia ask and Xerxes looks at the two and ponders for a moment before giving Cynthia an answer. “They are elves, though they are supposed to be hating our kind, the one we met are free spirited ones or should I say one since he is the first one we met in the first place.” The answer sparked the interest of the other employees as they start to ask about the elves that have been helping them and seeing that there is no time, Xerxes holds off the conversation there. “We should talk about it next time since we are about to depart.”

              The others are then gets a cliffhanger as they understand that the three are about to leave and made Xerxes promise to talk about it when they return next time. “Well, guess we’ll see you guys a few days later. Be sure to close the shop properly okay? And no- drinking, stay vigilant all the time.” Xerxes reminded them before they left and the employees promised to stay alert all the time. Seeing that they are all fine before they left, Xerxes felt a little relived and reassured. “They are going to leave now Samantha, aren’t you going to wish them good luck?” Cynthia ask as Samantha turns red. “What are you talking about Cynthia.” She then left after saying those words and pretend to clean even  though it is already cleaned in the morning. “This is the first time that I have heard of it Cynthia, what is the whole story?”

              Cynthia sees the despair on Samantha’s face when Bianca ask her. ‘Let’s just hide that fact for now so let’s let her off this time.’ Cynthia thinks to herself while Britt and Berto looks at them in confusion.

              Xerxes hired the same person from last time after seeing the situation he has in life so he decided to help Willy, “It’s the same thing okay? Just wait for us here.” Willy nods his head and left the carriage and the horse with him. “Let’s head out. We’ll be back Willy.” Xerxes and the two set out on foot in the same route and sees a few change in the route that they are using. “Did someone discover this route? There are signs that people have used this.” Xerxes ask the others, Ramirez examines the changes and confirms that some people definitely used the route. “But have it looks like they stopped here and returned. These are the tracks leading back.” Ramirez says after seeing that there is no sign that the tracks are made to mislead them.

              The three walk further head and sees a set of foot prints that doesn’t belong to any humanoid creature. “What are these foot prints?” Rupert asked but Xerxes’ eyes widen when he realize that it has the same print as the monster that he taken down. ‘But these things are way larger, does that mean that the one we took down is still somehow younger?’ Xerxes thinks to himself and tells the others to hurry to the shelter.

              Half an hour later and they arrived at the shelter and finds Yusaf and the others. “Xerxes, so it’s you huh? Come in silently. You guys as well, be as silent as you can.” Xerxes immediately understands the urgency of Yusaf’s words. “What is going on Yusaf?” Xerxes asked and he points in the distance, in the waters near the island where they found Samantha’s father, they see numerous long necked creature swimming in the waters that Xerxes took down.

              “Those things have keen sense of sight and hearing, a single shout and our location is revealed. In this case we need to make a new shelter away from these guys?” Yusaf  suggested. “They have been scouting the entire area for days, we have not been able to look for food ourselves.” Xerxes saw  that the group have burned a kilo from the last time they have seen each other and immediately sigh in relief. “It was fortunate that we brought a lot of food this time. Go on, dig in.” Xerxes and the others gave them the food, the elves were delighted to see the sight of food for the first time in days that some of them are moved to tears.

              After eating their full, the group plans their next move and decided to move out of the shelter. “We can just use this shelter next time but this time, it’s really risky.” Yusaf says and Xerxes agrees. “I agree, I have clashed with that thing but thankfully, I survived.” Xerxes said and Yusaf grabs him in surprise. “What?” Xerxes looks at him with a confused expression. “I manage to survive after killing that thing but it looks like it was still a younger than the ones here.” The elves are in complete amazement and shock after hearing him.
