They entered though the center portal into the temple, the inside of which was no less spectacular than the outside. The nave stretched out indefinitely, disappearing into darkness. Light filtered in from the great stained glass window, creating a spectacular rainbow glittering and dancing on the worn stone floor before them. Columns stretched in two straight rows down the length of the temple separating the nave proper from the two side aisles. Emmeline smiled. If only I could plant rows of corn this straight. Light filtered in weakly from the smaller stained glass windows on the sides, breaking up the dark with brief patches of multicolored light.
