Prologue
In an empty plot of land within a city whose name has been long forgotten, there sits an empty table. The surroundings of the table are barren with little to no life shown within close proximity. Not a sound can be heard in the area that seems to be an abandoned park. As the stars shine down upon the land the moon slowly starts to be overtaken. Soon the entire moon is about to be covered. Almost as if it was planned ahead of time the air flow around the table starts to fluctuate. When the last bit of the moon light vanishes from the sky a chilling wind appears from the left side of the park. The little bit of life that was showing on the ground began to wither at amazing speeds. Soon a line appears ten feet off the ground. Line after line appears until a door filled with endless struggle and fear comes into being. With an ominous sound coming from the door, out steps a man in a completely white suit. This man seems to bring about death and decay everywhere his eyes past. "Sigh, it has been too long since I last stepped upon this land in this form." Says the man as his gaze seems to contain endless amounts of sorrow and unkempt rage. The man proceeds to walk to the table and sits down. With a wave of his hand the table is covered with the most precious table cloth and table wear known to man. A gigantic feast of all types of foods and wine appears after the table is set. "This should be enough for the old man." The man who has the presence of a ruler sits at the table and sips wine by himself. If someone were to pass by and see this man they might think that some famous actor or celebrity is on break or is sight-seeing. Approximately twenty minutes passes by, before another line like the first appears on the right side of the bench. Unlike the first door that held the presence of death this door held endless warmth. All around the door life seemed to bloom. The plants that started to decay are now growing faster than ever the cobble stone path came back piece by piece in a straight path from the door to the table. Out of this door steps a man that seems to be light its self. The man stands at six foot five inches tall with broad shoulders and a muscular frame. He was like perfection itself, depending on what angle someone looked at him his visage changed to their image of the most perfect being they could think of. When he finally got to the table all life within fifty meters of him was overabundant with vitality. Once this man sat at the table everything seemed to get brighter. "This park used to be one of my favorite places on earth before it was abandoned. 'Sigh' Time sure flies it feels like it was just yesterday that this place was overflowing with my creations." The man sits at the table with nothing but empathy in his eyes. "This place is already discrete enough, but I still feel the need to shield us from unwanted eyes." As the man covered in gold says this a barrier forms around the table and nearby environments. Every tree in the immediate area swayed with no breeze as if to show their happiness for being allowed to receive this blessing. The man in gold stares at the man across from him with an odd gaze. "My son, it has been ages since I saw you last, how have you been? Has Hell been treating you well? Lucifer even if you're mad at my decision to banish, you have to remember that you're still my child at the end of the day. I..." Before the man in gold could continue what he had to say Lucifer interrupted him. "My name is not Lucifer I go by Luke Morningstar. Pleases call me as such." A silent moment goes by before the man in gold speaks again. "My son I am sorry, but what is done has already happened. There's no use crying over spilled milk. I'm a very busy man as you know so I don't have time to have an idle chat with you. Do you agree to my terms or not?" After God spoke those words an unconcealed killing intent spread from him. This killing intent was so tense that ice started to form in the air. "God how you never change, which is funny because you're actually god. Hahahaha." A laughter escaped from Luke's mouth but the rage in his eyes could not be hidden. "It's crazy how things have changed, never would I have thought that you the all mighty father would ask me, his son for a favor. God do you realize that you no longer own me!! How many times have we tried to talk and you not acknowledge that I have as much powers as you now? I AM MY OWN MAN. FATHER I KNOW YOU SEE THIS." Luke flew into a rage as soon as he said this. God shook his head and all his powers dimed down and an appearance of an old man was seen. The old man looked at his son and didn't understand how he had let things get this far. The old man thought about the past when Luke (As he calls himself now) was a child who only wanted his father's attention. "I guess I have to settle this now it's about time I hand over my position as "god". Luke I hope you can let go of your anger and rule well." Luke noticed that his father was thinking about something else and rolled his eyes. "He always does this; I swear I talk to myself sometimes." As this thought came to him he called out to his father. Upon hearing his son calling him god came back to himself. "My son I see that you are a grown man so I come to you with this promise. You and I will wager my crown of the heavenly kingdom, on one human child. If this child chooses the good path you have to come back to heaven and remodel yourself into my successor. If he goes down the evil path I let you take all power from me. This is a win win situation right?" Luke was shocked at this promise and looked at god in a strange way. "Dad is something wrong?" Luke got slightly worried about his father. "I'm fine kid, I'm just tired. It's about time I retire isn't it?" Luke sat down dumbstruck. "Di...did you say retire? How can you retire? Your god? Dad what are you saying to me? What about Michael how will he feel?" God chuckled a little and asked a question in a good natured manner "Now you care about your brothers? "God couldn't help but smile. God looked at Luke and said "You are my chosen child no matter what you choose my power is yours." Luke finally understood what his father was saying to him. A part of Luke that he thought he lost a long time ago silently started to show warmth, but becoming the devil takes a heavy toll. His kindness was soon overshadowed by sin. Luke immediately started looking for a loophole in this promise. He found one almost as soon as he started looking. Nowhere did it say he can't tempt the child into evil. Luke smiled evilly to himself. "This power might actually be easy to get." God snapped his fingers and every word he said was written on and old stone block. He handed the slab to Luke and watched as his son signed the contract. When the slab was finished it shined with gold light, and melted away into the sky. "The contract is done. When this child turns twenty-one years of age he will be judged by his actions up until that point. God got up from the table and stared to fade away, as God left so did the protection he placed around them. The plants stopped growing and the pathway fell apart again. Luke turned and rose to leave unknown to him a little tiny part of goodness was starting to grow. When Luke left through his own door. The park went back to being empty and abandoned. --- THREE YEARS LATER THE CHILD IS BORN--- At night in Fate hospital within the center of Hollow city a mother holds a newborn child in her arms. As the mother and father stare at their child which just came into this world. A voice whispers in the back of both of their minds at the same time. "The name of this child shall be Troy. His last name is up to the both of you. Raise the boy well for his destiny is to lead this world to good or evil." After the voice departs from both mind the couple stare at each other. The mother looks towards her husband and then back at her son and says "Oh Troy not even here for a day and you've already been selected for something." The father looks on from the side with worry, determination, and guilt in his eyes. "My son, just what have you gotten into? No matter what it is I as your father swear to protect you for as long as I can." After this ideal was placed in the fathers head a spark of realization flashed in his eyes. The man looks at his wife and child in the hospital bed and turns around and leaves. "Darling where are you going?" the mother starts to panic when her husband continues walking without saying anything. "When troy turns ten I will be back until then tell him I love him." Upon hearing these words, the mother couldn't help but scream his name. "Zander where are you going, what's going on, how am I supposed to raise him by myself?" Zander pauses his steps when hearing his wife cry his name in such a way. "Danni I'm sorry this is for Troy. I have a very bad feeling about the future. Take care of yourself and Troy" While zander continues to walk towards the exit of the hospital Troy wakes up and starts to cry. Zanders heart clenched harder and harder as each second passed. Inside the hospital Danni and Troy lay there while troy cries. Danni is in shock still. "Why did he leave? Back when he's ten what does that mean? Troy my baby what are we going to do?" Troy's cries continued to get louder and louder. All of a sudden the lights in the room dim and a red light starts to shine from the left hand of Troy. A small crest slowly began to form on the baby's left hand. The shine was equal parts good and evil. The feeling it gave of was like a bright summer day and a cold winter night. Danni was dumbfounded and quickly hurried to look under the blanket by the time she got the blanket undone the shine and feeling disappeared. Troy now lay quiet and Danni starts to worry about if she was seeing things. "what was that? Oh Zander I wish you were here." Danni lays back down on the bed and falls asleep. Under the constant stress of Zander leaving and the shine on her baby's arm. She couldn't help but be tired. As this night comes to and end time flies by. Years go by before Luke receives a letter from his subordinate. "the plague has been made and is ready for use." Upon seeing this letter Luke starts to think about the plague he wanted made. A plague that would infect humans and corrupt them from the inside out. "This should make that child evil without a problem. Now time to make plans for when I have "Gods" power." The story of how a child, who has been forced to decide the fate of the world begins. His actions will lead to salvation or suffering. A year later as the plague is spreading around the world Troy turns five years old. God has received news of this plague and sends his most loyal warrior, his Valkyrie, Leah. Leah receives her orders and goes to earth. Troy is celebrating his fifth birthday and is super happy. All of a sudden a siren goes off. "On today July 13th we encourage everyone to stay in the house. Do not for any reason go outside." When Troy's mother heard this she immediately dropped what she was doing and went to find troy. Troy is walking around looking for his mother and sees an old man he knows. Troy walked up to say hello and saw the old man's appearance. Before he can see the old man a black substance leapt off of the old man on to troy. His left hand started to shine and as if it was a beacon all the black substance around the world rushed into him. Leah who felt the presence of the sigil flew to Troy at her top speed. When Leah found the boy almost his whole body except his left hand was covered in a gooey black substance. "Sigh so this is how I die. I wonder if he will feel anything once I'm gone. Leah without a second thought took her great sword from behind her back and stabbed Troy right in his heart. The dark and evil black substance went from troy to the shiny white sword. The sword looked like it had wings of its own. It was a divine weapon. One which god made for her himself. The sword slowly turned black. The black substance on Troy slowly melted into the sword. Leah's left arm which held the sword slowly turned pale. The beautiful golden skin that she had lost its gold and turned into a beautiful honey brown skin. That honey brown skin started to turn even more pale. Soon almost as in all the ash in the world found her skin she turned completely white. The white slowly crept up her arm to her shoulder pretty soon half her face was ash white. Her left eyes pupil went from gold to red. Her halo broke a was replaced by a horn and half crown. The crown and her halo fit together as if they were made for each other. God noticed what was going on and came down next to Leah. "Leah you have been by my side since I found and raised you. I know that you love me but I cannot love you back. This is my final act of selflessness I have as god." When he said those words gods right hand slashed down from the sky and split Leah apart. Her good and evil became two different halves'. When the left half was separated the evil black energy dived into Leah like sharks dive into prey. When the sword completely turned black a hand reached out from the ground and snatched the left side of Leah, with the sword still in hand and pulled her into hell." Father this sword and evil half of a soul belong to me." At that moment God shed a tear, he knew that half of his beloved Leah was lost to him. It is a strange thing when the creator of the universe is moved by emotion. Winds began to gust and animals of all species began to cry out. No matter what form he takes on earth God's creations will always inherently sense him, and his emotion moved every living thing that was anywhere near him. God knew that he could not bring half an angel back into heaven with him so he decided to leave the light half of Leah here on earth in the form of a female child who would grow to be a great help to Troy who, from this moment, was destined to navigate the throws of absolute good and absolute evil. ---------TWO YEARS GO BY---------
