Five years later
“Alex?”
“I’m ready Daddy” my son shouts from his bedroom. We getting ready to surprise Fiona in her photo studio. Yes, she opened her photo studio here in town two years ago and she doing great.
“Come on Alex” I take my son's hand and we go to the car. It's seven pm and we surprise Fiona for her birthday. We go to take her for dinner.
“My gift will like to mummy?”
“Sure buddy. She will love it” he makes a drawing with the three of us and we take her and the bracelet with hearts that Alex chooses. We arrived at Fiona’s studio. I picked Alex and we went inside. Kelly an employee who works for Fiona says hello to us and tells us that Fiona is in her office talking about an event. We sit there and wait for her. When the client left we went inside. Fiona was sitting in her office
“Mummy....” Alex shoots running to Fiona
“Sweetheart!!” She says and Alex sits on her feet.
“Happy birthday mummy,” Alex says and gives her the drawing. Fiona looks at the drawing and she smiles.
“Sweetheart is beautiful. Thank you” and she kisses him. I go close and give her a kiss
“Happy birthday love”
“Thanks, both of you. That’s amazing. What a great surprise” she says
“We came to take out for dinner” She looks at the time.
“I can let Kelly close today. I don’t have another appointment” She says hey her stuff so we can go. In the car, she sits behind Alex
“What do you want sweetheart?” Fiona asks Alex when we sit at our table. We order and our night passes wonderfully. I have to talk to the owner when we find food to bring the birthday cake that I left them before. Fiona is very happy and I can’t help but smile all night. We return home and Fiona starts to get ready Alex for bed. I wait in the living room with a bottle of her favorite red wine.
“Hey baby,” she says as she tightened her hair up. She changed and wore a viscose simple blue dress. She is so f*****g sexy in everything she is wearing
“Hey, love. Little more wine” she smiles and she sits next to me.
“Sure.”
“Cheers,” we say and we drink a sip
“Happy birthday love,” I say and I give her one more gift.
“Another. I thought...”
“No, the bracelet is from Alex. That is from me” She opens the big box. I take for her the latest model of a professional camera.
“Oh my God baby. You are amazing. Thank you” she put them on the coffee table and she gives a big kiss. Slowly it starts to become passionate.
“I love you Fi”
“I love you too baby. Can we go to bed? I missed you. Two days is too long” I laugh and we stand up. I close the bottle and lift her in bridal style and we go to our bedroom. I lay her down and she starts unbuttoning my shirt. We make love like is the first time. Always is like the first time. She rests her head on my chest. I will never get tired of this.
Fiona pov
“Baby? You sleeping” I ask Jason after our third round.
“No Love”
“I have to tell you something”
“As long as you don’t say that you want a divorce I’ll take whatever you say” I laugh. I ask for a divorce? In what universe?
“No baby is not that. I don’t say that word even as a joke”
“Good” and he kisses my head. I am raising my head and look at him. He looking at me too.
“What you’ll say if I tell you that we going to have another baby?” He looks at me
“You ask me to start trying to do another or you are already pregnant? Because with the two of that, I’m thrilled”
“Well, you don’t have to try. I already am.” I smile and he caresses my cheek.
“Another baby? Alex will have a baby brother or sister?”
“Yes. I hope he gets excited like you”
“He’ll be very happy. He is the big brother now. He will feel proud”
“You're right.” We started kissing again passionately it didn’t take long to go for a fourth round. still, after six years, I can get enough for him. I pray after sixty years we love each other the same.
