Chapter 2 - Divorce Him Now!

The short and skinny lady’s name was Lily Smith while the older woman was Mrs Smith Senior. They were Jade's younger sister and grandmother.

Just then, Lily approached Jade and began to reproach her, saying, “Jade, why are you here with this crazy Aiden? Aren't you tired of disgracing out family? Did you come here with him in order to further drag out family to doom or to insult Mr Foleys with his irritative presence so that he wouldn't save our family from troubles?!” Turning to Aiden, she landed a hot slaps on his cheek and glowered scornfully with a twisted dark and contempted face, “i***t, why are you here and what are you still doing with my sister? Haven't you done enough damage to our family?!”

“Argh!”

Aiden held his red swollen cheek in his hand and grimaced painfully. Then he ran to hide behind Jade and cried, “Darling, save me. Please don't let them harm me. Protect please!”

“Mhm. Lily, what the hell are you doing? Why did you slapped Aiden?!”

Jade hurriedly barricaded Lily to prevent her from slapping Aiden further and then yelled angrily, “Lily, don't you ever dare to slap or insult Aiden again otherwise you wouldn't like what I will do you if tries it next time!”

Then she turned to Aiden and said with voice full of concern, “I am very sorry Aiden that Lily just slapped you now. I will protect you. I promise to make her regret it if she dared tries it next time.”

Seeing Jade’s sorrowful face, Aiden’s pains dowsed and he picked a candy and handed to Jade, saying, “don't be sorry darling, have a candy!”

“What?! Jade, why are you still defending this fool?! See, I am going to disown and expell you from the Smith’s family today if you dare provoke Mr Foleys with yours tupid and reckless actions or stops him from saving our family!” Mrs Smith Senior was displeased to see Jade still standing in for her useless and crazy husband who was supposed to have been trashed away by now.

At the same, a young man alighted from a Bentley azure and yelled angrily at the top of his voice, saying, “What the hell is happening here? Jade, what are you still doing with this i***t? Why are you defending and protecting him from being beaten up by Lily?!”

The young man was dressed in a sleek white imported Italian suit. He is Jackson Foleys, Jade's soon-to-be new husband. In order to marry Jade the beauty goddess in Vietnam City, Jackson pulled some trigger behind-the-scene that dragged the Smith's group into a serious financial crisis and forced Jade to start looking for help. Jackson had always been jealous about Aiden and Jade's relationship.

How could a useless and crazy i***t be with the most beautiful maiden in the city whereas a powerful, influential and wealthy young man like himself had none?

He had secretly investigated the root cause why Jade had always remained faithful to her husband despite his uselessness and craziness especially when they were battalions of formidable and charismatic men fighting to marry her. It was then that he found out that Jade was like that because she was simply honoring her late grandfather’s last wish and request. He also found out that Jade can only accept to divorce Aiden and get remarried if she was faced with the problem of saving her family’s business group which she had invested all her life and time to build after her grandfather made her the Groups' general manager.

Jackson saw how protective Jade was towards Aiden Stein and knew that she was still in love with him. So, he flared up instantly.

Meanwhile, Jade replied with an iced voice, saying, “Grandma, Lily and Jackson, must you people insult or humiliate Aiden publicly all the time? You all are aware that Aiden is crazy and foolish, why must you beat or humiliate him again. I have accepted to marry Mr Foleys but that doesn't mean that I will watch anyone of insulting or beating Aiden up just like that without doing anything to help or save him from harm. After all, Aiden is still my husband untill divorce procedures is completed.”

Jade's defensive statement further infuriated Jackson and his face immediately darkened.

“Haha!” A maniacal laughter flashed on his face and was quickly replaced by a whimsical smirk and grin. “So, it's this i***t and crazy Aiden that you have being protective of all these while?”

In a flash, Jackson dashed towards Aiden and grabbed him with his two hands and yanked him horrorfully.

“Argh! Don't kill me. Drop me on the ground and I will give you some candies!” Fear gripped Aiden immediately and he pleaded Jackson to drop him the ground.

However, Jackson ignored his please and instead of dropping him, he increased the furiousness by yanking him more vigorously.

“Argh! Jade, please save me. Protect me, please!” Since his pleas felled on Jackson rageful ears, Aiden panicked in pain and cried to Jade for help.

“Jackson, I will not proceed to marry you if can't let go of him now!”

To save Aiden from Jackson's inhumane tortures, Jade threatened that she was not going to proceed with their proposed martial rites.

Hearing Jade’s threats of not continuing with the proposed marriage with him, Jackson finally released his grips on Aiden and said, “Fine. I will let go of him now but you must never have anything to with him in the future again. Do you agree to it?”

Jade nodded her head and replied, “Yes, I agree provided that you won't touch or humiliate him again.”

“Alright. Let's go to the event hall and proceed with our wedding ceremony immediately. I can't wait to officially have you as my legally married wife.”

“So fast. But I haven't officially dissolve my marriage to Aiden Stein by signing the divorce papers. Why can't we wait for the welfare department to finish preparing the documents for us...”
