PART ONE
“That goes over there,” I said to the guys who were moving the sound system.
It was Saturday already and I only had a few hours before the party began and I still had so much stuff to do. I wasn’t even close from done yet.
One of the tech guys walked over to me, “Where do we put the lights?” he asked.
I had so much stuff on my brain that his question threw me off. What was he talking about? What lights? Was he in the right place?
By the look on his face, I could tell he had figured out that I had no idea what he was talking about.
“In the living room only. I don’t want them everywhere,” someone said from behind me. I turned around and met Aydan’s stare. “What are you waiting for? Move, there isn’t much time left for you to be wasting.”
