CHAPTER FORTY-EIGHT
I DID NOT KNOW THAT NATHAN’S HOUSE was this huge, and I also did not know that it would be a huge gathering, and there were plenty of visitors. Carson instructed me that I can use the guest room for the mean time since I would only be staying here for a short while before we head off to the airport at 3 in the morning. She was pretty accommodative and I still couldn’t eradicate the timid feelings I get when she acts like a sister to me. Nathan was pretty nice and helpful to me too, and it makes it me feel better at the very least. I tried socializing for a bit during dinner, and it was nice, the food tasted good and the visitors were mostly Carson and Nathan’s colleagues filling their place of chattering noises.
