Chapter 3

POV:Diva George

Camilla my mother started thinking about what Linda did, “If I keep staying here, she'll definitely do worse” she thought so after much deliberation she decided to leave so she picked up a pen and paper and wrote “I love you so much Alex but I can't put my child in danger, there are lots of people who don't want me here, some even tried to harm me and my child so I've taken this bold step to leave but I'll always love you and our child is a symbol of our love” and she left without anyone noticing.

When Alex came back, on entering the house he couldn't perceive her scent so he felt something was wrong so he rushed into the room to check if she was there but she wasn't, “Camilla!!! Camilla!! Camilla! Where is she?” he said to himself and ran back downstairs, his guards wanted to tell him something but he didn't give them listening ears, he was scared because he couldn't find her scent anywhere after thorough checking he remembered something, “there are people living in this house” he said and went to ask them “did you see my Luna going anywhere” he said with a commanding tone, “that's what we've been trying to tell you but you weren't listening to us” one of the guards said, “so where is she?” he asked, “we saw her leaving but without any luggage, we actually questioned her but she didn't reply, so we thought she was actually going for a walk but we became worried after she didn't come back for a long time” a maid said, “you guys did what?” he yelled, “that's why her scent isn't anywhere not in the city” so he left them and went to his room because he didn't want to accept the fact that she has left, “I should still get something, at least a clue to find out where she's heading” he said to himself but his wolf was already crying like a cub, as he sat on his bed to think of where he would start from he found a letter on the bed, written on it was “a letter to my soulmate”, he picked it up and read it he couldn't hold himself anymore, he fell to the ground after he completed it, he shifted and gave a loud howl, his guards were shocked because this was the first time. His Wolf started whimpering; he started regretting why he didn't mark her. That was the biggest mistake he made, and he kept regretting it.

Camilla went back to her clan and when she got there everyone was surprised to see her, even the king was surprised “Where did you go to all these years?” the king yelled at her as she walked into the palace, the king kept yelling and questioning her but Camilla didn't give him a response after much scolding and questioning he kept quiet for a while, “are you done?” Camilla asked and he was shocked by her response “Where did she get this much confidence?” he said to himself, “can you see my clothes are torn?” she said and touched her clothes, “I was kidn*pped by the werewolves” she responded and the king was already perceiving the scent and it was that of a werewolf so he believed her and since she's not his lover he didn't take any action, “where's my son?” she snapped at him, James George snapped at the maid very close to him and she went to bring him out, “who is she?” he said looking confused, “Well, that's your mum” James said but Rider was still looking confused, “I thought my mum was dead” he said, immediately Camilla went to him and hugged him and Rider could also feel a little affection for her and he crossed his hands at the back of her neck and Camilla started crying when a guy barged into the palace, “we're under attack” he said and started panting heavily like he had run a thousand miles, “attack?” James said and drew his sword from the back of his chair, “Go through the back and leave this place, go very far away from here and don't look back no matter what” he pointed at Camilla, “” he commanded two of his maids and instructed the rest to suit up and follow him, they all did according to what he said.

The people who attacked them killed him, killed almost all his guards, and enslaved his people; they caught Camilla, the maids, and her son in their hiding spot. The new king that ascended to the throne fell in love with her “Can you be my concubine?” but she refused “I already escaped James and now you, I don't want history to repeat itself so no” she replied immediately and since she didn't agree to his proposal he sent them to be kept in the dungeon, while Camilla was still pregnant of me, he didn't have plans on releasing them anytime soon so Rider grew up there and she gave birth to me her Child in the dungeon, she gave birth to me. After I was born, she named me Diva, so when I was 3 years old, Camilla decided to teach us her children how to defend ourselves because she knew that the king would kill her sooner or later, so she trained us inside the dungeon.

When I was 17 years old, while Rider was asleep, Camilla seized the opportunity to tell her about her being part Werewolf and part Vampire, meaning she was a hybrid, so her mum explained to her about it and told her all about their lives, not knowing Rider wasn't really asleep he was eavesdropping on their conversation. The next day, they heard from the guards that the king was dead, and his son ascended the throne immediately; he was worse than his father. One day, he went to the dungeon, he was taking a stroll and his eyes caught mine and he stopped right in front of them, “release her” he said to a guard, Camilla was confused about what was going on, the guard went in to take me but Camilla stopped him “No, let her be” she said and stood in front of her like her guard.
