Chapter 5

POV:Blake Black

“Why are you so heartless? Have you forgotten you have a mate?” I said to her and she turned away pretending like she didn't hear what I said, “you're a w***e” I said and that rang a bell in her ear, “was anything wrong in my statement?” she said, immediately I turned to her “are you questioning your Alpha?” I asked her to the wall holding the neck firmly, “don't you have feelings at all, it's been 3 months and Sam is nowhere to be found and you're not concerned” I added still holding her neck tightly, Naya kept struggling and kept tapping me by my hand to free her. Finally, I let her go and she fell to the ground coughing profusely, “even though you don't love him, is it the same with your inner wolf. In fact, leave my sight right now, you disgust me” I said pointing at the door and she struggled to stand up, she still continued coughing and held her neck trying to catch her breath, “I SAID LEAVE!” I raised my voice at her, she looked at me and left.

I took time to get myself so I prepared for the council meeting I sighted a black tailored suit with peak lapels, fitted waist, and streamlined trousers alongside a white dress shirt, slim collar, French cuffs, a subtle sheen, Black slim tie, Black leather polished dress shoes, fits his slender shape, polished cap-toe oxfords with a sleek design and I picked up my black leather watch and set out to leave.

As I walked in, I heard what they were discussing but as I walked in they all kept quiet, “I'm here now, why did you stop? Just continue” I said to them , “We actually need our Luna, without her the pack isn't complete, there are some certain things she ought to control but she's not here” one of them said to me,same thing they keep ringing in my ears, “even if you've not found your Luna, you can pick one of the female wolves who hasn't mated and use her as your Luna and everyone knows you're into Naya” another person said and they all agreed and started murmuring, immediately I hit my hands on the table making a very loud sound and I stood up, everywhere went silent. “How dare you guys fit me with Naya, someone that denied her mate? She's selfish; her mate hasn't been seen for months, and she doesn't care,e,” I replied and left. I started thinking, and I went into the forest to clear my head. I was tired of all this Luna to talk. It frustrating.

POV:Diva George

Jordan was talking to his men, discussing how to make them a threat to other kingdoms and at the same time ensuring the safety of his people then he turned to his guard, “Send Chloe a message telling her, I need her on my bed tonight”, the guard bowed in front of him and left. When the message got to her, she started smiling because she already had feelings for him, she's been hoping to rule side by side with him, but unknowingly to her, she was just his fuckmate.

When she got to the palace she started hearing rumors about him wanting to get married to Diva, “it's not going to work not on my watch” she said to herself, “moreover who is this person called Diva, I must know her” she said and went to straight to his room, “I'm going to treat him better than the usual, he must forget about her” she continued talking to herself and laid on his bed.

Then, Jordan walked in and saw her; he smiled and walked to his table, dropped his accessories there, and went to her. He pulled her close and raised her legs, kissing her from her neck buy. After they were done, Jordan smiled. “Today's different than usual,” he said. She was happy and thought she had already made him think about her alone, but I was still in his mind.

The next morning, Chloe woke up before Jordan all because she wanted to gossip. She left his room without making any sound, she started asking different maids and guards who I was, some didn't give her a reply, some said “I'm sorry, I can't disclose such information” and they left and she bumped into a particular maid so she decided to try her luck if she'll answer but this time around she promised to give her a huge amount of money and the maid pulled her to the back and agreed to tell her.

Rider came to meet me, “any changes?” he asked but I didn't give him a reply because have been tired of listening to him and I had been thirsty for blood so I left him “You're walking out on me right, I'm doing this for the betterment of us and you're walking out on me, no problem,” he said but I didn't give him a listening ear.

After the maid told her everything about me and also showed her my room. Coincidentally, we bumped into each other. “I'm sorry,” I said and Chloe looked at me from the sole of her feet to the top of her head twice, “I've not seen you in this palace before, I'm Chloe by the way, and you are?” she extended her hands for a handshake, “I'm Diva,” I said and left without shaking her. “So this is the so-called Diva; she doesn't even match my standards; I'll crush you like an ant,” she said and hit her hands together.

My craving for blood became very strong, and I had to satisfy myself. As I walked into the forest, I saw a cheetah, so I pursued it, and it was very fast, making me go into the forest. I caught my kill,I drank the blood to my satisfaction , and threw the animal aside. When I looked around, I was deep into the forest, so I sat down under a tree; my mother's talk came into my head about her being extraordinary, “will I adapt to it if it comes?” I asked myself.

I started perceiving a very familiar scent deep inside the woods, but i wasn't sure, and my wolf told him, the word rang in his head: “MATE”!!!.
