10. Fight

Gabriel My wolf was worried that something might happened to our mate and wanted to follow them but I persuaded him that everything will be all right because she was with El. Honestly I wanted to follow them too. I wanted to protect her and to hold her in my arms more than anything. We already found her - our mate! I knew that it wasn’t good idea just to let her go after we already found her but I had to figure out more about her. She was a future luna of the entire werewolves' kingdom so I had to be sure that she had nothing to do with our enemies. That was the reason why I let her with El. I was sure that she would take care of my mate. Eli was maybe the demon but she knew that it was strictly prohibited to harm someone in this school. Eli was the one who always followed the rules. I was sure that our mate was with Eli totally safe. As soon as they left, the class continued as nothing happened at all. I was lost in my thoughts what should I do to find some answers and I lost my awareness. I didn’t realize what Blackwood said. That was my huge mistake. Eli was gone and I lost my training partner. Blackwood used this situation and he chose that he will be my partner instead of her for the rest of the class. It could only mean that the rest of the hour would be a living hell. “Today we will prove your survival skills. You will fight against each other. There is only one rule. You have to keep fighting until first blood drop falls down. Only then you can stop fighting! Are we clear?” said Blackwood to all but all the time he was looking at me. Everyone in the hall confirmed it in unisono. Only I said nothing, because I knew that my wolf was preparing himself for the battle knowing that I would let him soon out. “Are you ready, your highness?” spouted on me disrespectfully Blackwood. I nodded and shifted to my wolf - Duromor. As an alpha and the future king my wolf was bigger than other wolves. He was black and on the forehead he had small white mark. My mum was always saying that I was kissed by the Moon goddess itself and that I was the chosen one. That was the reason why Duromor was born with his white mark on the forehead. I never figured out what exactly meant to be the chosen one, because only Moon goddess knew the answer. When the Blackwood saw the mark he was obviously disgusted and he prepared for a quick strike. The fight had begun. Blackwood was really fast. Without any second thoughts he charged towards the wolf and was trying to stab Duromor with his claws to quickly end this fight. However, based on the Duromor advanced survivors skills, he immediately dodged his attack to the side with quite impressive back-roll. Blackwood turned over and saw that we were ready to strike back. Few minutes later we were fully into each other trying various deadly attacks to neutralize the opponent. Duromor sensed that Blackwood was really strong with high perception however we had quite impressive agility too. I was moving with such a speed and control that caused problems for Blackwood to hit me. But this was not enough and Blackwood knew it. It was just a matter of time to put a critical hit on me knocking me out. I had to hold on just a little bit more and the class would be over soon. Blackwood was attacking more and more willingly not to put his reputation in risk. He wanted to be sure of his winning. Suddenly I heard that the class was over and I shifted back to my human form. Duromor was too exhausted so I let him took a rest. I was so happy that I haven't stayed in focus. I would never expect that the fight would be continuosly going after the class too but Blackwood attacked me suddenly in my human form. I was so surprised that I didn’t move away on this time and his claws reaped my arm almost apart. I growled from pain and Blackwood knew that he won. He whispered while smiling to my ear so that only me could hear him: “I said the fight is over when the first blood will drop. Next time you would be dead your highness.” Then he turned to others and said as nothing happened: “The class is over! Now you need to care of those who are wounded. If someone wants to go to infirmary do that now because there will be no excuse later!” He smiled feloniously at me just to remember me that he won and he walked away.
