3. Welcome to the Moon’s academy

Just a second ago I was hugging my sister and now I was actualy standing in front of a main entrance of the Moon’s Academy. I needed a second to catch my breath. Shifting to 18 years old human in the same time as teleporting to school entrance in other space was just too much for me so I needed immediately to take a short rest.
I looked around to find where should I rest and I realized that this academy is huge. It looked like an old castle which was rebuilt into a school. I took few steps forward to look around and then I figured out that it was heavily raining and I couldn’t see much with my human eyes. I could only see that the academy was deep in the forest.
Suddenly my human shell sneezed. s**t! I totaly forgot that now as a human being I could get wet from the rain and I could feel cold as well as hot. And now I was totaly freezing because of this sh...y wheather. I cursed myself because I chose to wear this stupid T-shirt and shorts when I already knew that the Academy is in Alaska.
But when you are a goddess you feel nothing like cold or hot because the goddesses' blood is like your private thermoregulator. If it is hot our blood will cool us and on the other hand if it is too cold it warms us. Therefore I never have worn anything to warm me up.
So I totaly forgot on this unpleasant human factor. I had to notice this for the future to avoid this discomfort in the next time.
“Well done girl!” I said to myself while being only few minutes in the human world and already suffering.
The worst thing was that I realized that I was late, that's the reason why no one was around. Oh hell no! I totaly forgot that here the time has flown diferently. First day and I already messed it up twice. This was a really nice beginning.
I walked down the hallway and looked for a dean's office but there was no signs where it could be.
I thought it couldn’t be worst but quess what? It was.
I was completely wet, late who knows how long and totaly lost.
I felt hopeless and then I noticed an incredible smell. I overheard some noice and started to follow it slowly.
The sound was louder and the faint aroma was so strong that I almost got mad. It was like the forest after rain. I noticed that I was right in front of a training hall.
I had to find the source of this scent so I tried to sneak in.
Let's say at least I tried but I forgot once again that I was now only a human and all other students were mythical creatures with high evolved senses. They sensed my presence long ago so they stopped their training and just were just looking at me.
I was just too busy to think how to sneak undiscovered in that I haven't realized that I coudln’t hear anything, just my hearthbeating as well as my breathing.
So it was quite hilarious. When I was “trying“ to sneak in standing on my tiptoes, everyone was looking at me surprised, distrustful, and some of them hungrily with mockery and disbelieve on what I was trying to do. They could hear and sense me long ago because I was only a human in entire academy and they knew that I shouldn’t be there.
When I already realized that I was found out I couldn’t move an inch. All attention was on me and I didn’t know what to do. My brain was not working normaly because I was so mesmerized by the fragrance that I was not able to think rationally. I should be scared by all that creatures around me, but I felt safe instead. Safe and full of energy. When I thought that I might go crazy, I suddenly saw them. Two boys and two girls so incredible beautiful that my heart skipped the beat. In my entire life I never saw such beauty. My mother as well as Atri were beautiful but those four were breathtaking and I just knew that the delicious smell had to come from one of them. I moved to them but then someone stepped in my way.
“How dare you!?” I was so enraged that someone dared to step in my way that I forgot the fact that I had to stay down as a lovely human being. Next second I realized my mistake. Everyone looked at me with a disbelieve. Now I finally looked closely to the man who dared to cross my way and I realize two things. He was furious and I saw that his fangs came out.
“Oh s...t” I whispered when I figured out that he was a vampire, one of my mother's creatures.
This was my first time to see a vampire alive. I was so fascinated that I forgot to at least pretend the fear. He saw that and he was totaly confused by my pose so he just said to me:
“I dare to send you to principal office immediately miss Midnight, because I am your teacher and you are mere human who were allowed to attend this great academy and still, on your first day you were late and you dare to be insolent to your teacher.”
No, no, no .. how could I totaly messed this up?
“Miss Donnoven could you please show our bold human where she can find the dean's office, please?” he asked someone behind his back.
“And tell him please that Miss Midnight stays one week after school starting today, because she obviously don’t know where her place is” and he turned away from me.
F..ck I am only a few minutes in this world and I totaly f...ck it up. It was totaly a disaster!
He suddenly stopped and looked behind his shoulder at me and ironically spout
“Oh and one more thing: welcome to the Moon’s Academy miss Midnight!”
