There was no reply, though, and Drew continued his gallery walk toward the bedrooms. The last two pictures on the wall were of the same Indian family. In the first picture, a mother and father sat on the couch in the great room, with their smiling daughter between them. Like the photos before it, it was faded with the years, the sharpness of the colors softening into twilight golds. The father was dressed casually in a white linen shirt, while the mother wore a light green sari dress. They both looked happy but reserved, posing a bit shyly for the picture.
