Charlotte’s POV: “Ay, girl! Will you be coming down to Bobbie’s for drinks later after work?” Timothy, my best friend, asks from across the counter. I smile at the way the foam from his Frappuccino sits on his stubble. I nod my head and laugh out, causing him to wipe away the line of white and roll his eyes. “You know I don’t drink, but I will be there.” I reply and he rolls his eyes again. He is so feisty! I love it. “I’ll come to fetch you at five sharp then?” He says as he peeps over his shoulder and I laugh again as my hands shoo him to go out the door. Timothy loves barging into this little diner in the South at any time of the day and is always around to add an extra smile to my life here in this small town.
