I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as both Hera and Aria kept interviewing me about Dane as well as my relationship with him. I'm not comfortable enough to disclose the real score between us, but I don't want to utter lies to them either. The thin line of respect has been crossed out as they failed to understand my part.
"Just tell us who he is, Ember, aside from the fact that he was the Alpha," Aria pouted as she rocked my body back and forth.
