Chapter Five: FeedingAri has no idea what's going on.
The man is still holding her as though she weights nothing. She can feel him beaming at her like she's an infant or something. And then people are walking in, ignoring the fact that she's completely naked. When she struggles and tries to cover herself up, her presses her closer. "Daddy's here," he coos, his warm hand stroking her cheek.
She wants to scream at him to put her down, at the others to put a stop to this insanity, but everyone's moving around like this is normal too, like she shouldn't be panicking cause nobody's reacting at all. She's never been very good and discerning what's normal and what's not, picking up social cues from the people around her.
