Chapter 30

The Hawk's POV

"He did what?!" His highness yelled once more , making my wings covered up my head for protection. After flapping the dirt on my wings , I looked at his highness who's face had a smirk upon by now. Me who's worrying if he had a mental health issue , asked if he's doing great.

"Y-Your highness. Are you doing well?" "Ugh , of course I am. In fact....," He uttered as he tossed the letter into flames , 

"We got a kingdom to destroy..."

.....Am I suppose to be concerned? "Are you listening?" I looked at his highness who's eyes were covered with rage. "Y-Yes , your highness , I will do as you said so." I cheated from his highness as I walked out , took a deep breath. 

"You must be tired here." I looked up and found her who handed me a pure pearl white towel. I grabbed it while wiping the sweat that could build a river. "His highness had ordered you to continue the spying , just in case you're daydreaming by the second." "What did I do to deserve you?"

"Your kindness and humour , love. Here ,"She uttered while handed me a lunchbox with warm Baghrir and syrup on it. I looked at her with sparkling eyes , "You must be tired from the flying. Have some on your break." I caressed her by the cheek , before she was called back to her duties and I set off to Paiogs once more.

Zinnex's POV

Me who's admiring the beauty of my officially marriage ring , having some flashbacks of the amazing scene yesterday which was my best birthday.

*Flashback*

"Where have you two been , don't you that there're guests who appeared at the scene?" King Bergstorm questioned us while the guests from different nations looked at me. Some men looked at me with very very seductive eyes , but Agrona soon dragged me closer into his arms , while explaining to his father. 

"*sigh* At least , you're not late. Come on , the guests were waiting." King Bergstorm said while walked onto the podium as he announced my arrival , "Guest! Royals and Dukes , may I present Lady Zinnex Langford , daughter of Baron Langford from Lionards and maiden of my youngest son , Agrona Bergstorm," I did a curtsy at the crowd as the men cheered , making my cheeks flushed a bit. 

"Tonight , it's her 18th birthday , and we shall give her the best day on Paiogs! Now , we shall make a toast to the birthday girl." He said as Agrona appeared next to me , handing me a gauntlet with grape wine while whispered "Don't get yourself drunk , hm?" I hit him by the chest playfully while grabbed the wine from his hand.

"A Toast! To Lady Zinnex!" "To Lady Zinnex!" The crowd cheered as Agrona walked in front of me with his hand intertwined with my free hand. "Guests from nations , I would like to make an announcement. See , we're late for my maiden's birthday ceremony , and I have learnt my mistake sorry father." I looked at my husband confusingly as he picked my hand with the ring and caressed it at public.

"Agrona! What are you doing?!" "Zinny , was that a ring on your hand?" Mihi flew to me as she grabbed my hand , staring at the ring. She soon squealed as she hugged me ,"He proposed?!" I shyly nodded as Mihi and Nashira held me tightly in the arms. "Congrats , Zinny! When's the wedding?!" Agrona and I quickly looked away as Mihaka asked such question.

*Flashback End*

As I was admiring it under the morning sun , a arm wrapped around me , making me squealed a bit. "Agrona you really gotta stop scaring me like that." "Can't blame me for love giving you surprises~" He said while giving me butterfly caresses on the face. I giggled by his affection until a question came in mind...

"Agrona....I have a question..." He stopped his affection as he looked at me questionably. "How come you're a human hybrid if your family was a Aniture with ethnic Paiogs origin?" As I questioned so , he looked away from me , making me have slightly worries. "I-It's fine , I have no bad intention , I-" Before I was off my way , he grabbed me in the wrist , uttered "N-No , in fact , you have to know about this...."

I sat next to him , as he stated his problems , 

"I was just a normal Aniture boy till I found this funny looking ring around a finger of a bone corpse that belongs to a human. The ring was exclusively gorgeous so I took it. However , the ring transformed into dust as it dissolve in mid air. I was so afraid that i ran home and hid in my room for at least 7 suns."

I looked at his face full of terror , placing my hand on his , letting him proceed , 

"Within the 7 suns , I found my Paiogs featured ears was gone so by my diligence , I got a fake one to disguise myself , hiding the truth. Then , a nightmare happened. A man with black skinny horns and a black crown upon his white hair said that I had gotten myself into a unmovable curse , the cost of touching it was to being blood-lust and achieved the title as 'The Blood God'." 

He then said , 

"That day onward, except for Osiris , I barely had friends since people afraid for my crazy slaying and lust to blood. When the day Father ordered the three of us to head to different direction where the feather point towards and bring him the finest wife to him , I wasn't hoping anything , till.... your father was attacked by Chyenas. His body was scarred terribly and before I had a word or two , he fainted onto the ground."

"Oh that...I remember...then...we met each other?" 

"I believe it's so," He said while hold my hands with his tightly , "You're the first girl who have the audacity to talk with the Blood God , you're the only one who dare to bring up the fight with me. You...dare to look at me into the eyes , Zinnex." He said while moved my hair away from my face. I smiled by his affection , smirked as I continued "Should you be appreciate that your wife had a fully nerve of stubbornness?" "I think I should." He said while caressed me by the lips. 

On my way to the royal maiden room , I walked passed Alaistair himself who's reading a book in his grasp. He soon blocked my way , making me a bit impatient ,"Beg your pardon , Alaistair. May I pass?" he glared at me while closing his book hardly , which freaked me out a bit. He stood in front of me , which made a huge height comparison between us.

"Don't you dare to use first name basis on me , was that much blessing from my parents making you that proud already?" "No , no , I'm not , Prince-" Before I called him 'Prince Alaistair' , he shut me up with the book , whispered into my ear ,"Call me King Alaistair instead, cat peasant." I narrowed my eyebrows , looking at him furiously ,"Listen up , I will ensure that you and Agrona will not have the throne. Cause it belongs to me and your beloved 'sister' , my Nashira. If you two dare to be in our way , I will be sure that the Langfords will face its end." He threatened as he walked away. My head was nothing but millions of questions , 

"What had gone into this fella's head?"
