Chapter 16

Zinnex's POV

Watching my sisters and Queen Iyuna who's left in Paiogs , I have knew by the quick second , my journey has begun. I climbed on the shrouds of the ship as I watch my dreams has taken a step further, 'This feels so amazing!' 

"Whatcha doing up here , kitty?" I turned my neck and found Agrona who's leaned on the ropes next to me. My tail was straightened by his sudden appearance. "Nya! When did you-" "Hey Agrona! The captain has a word with you!" I looked down and found Osiris who yelled out his name with ropes in his grasp. "Ugh ,, give a break , Osiris!" "Just come down before I kick your..."

'*sigh*thankfully , they're still friends.' , I thought while the ship passed across a huge row bamboo made walls that was extended , 'Lionards... I mis-' Right when my eyes was dragged away by the huge wall , an arm snaked around my waist and my body was jumped down from the shroud. I looked at the man who snaked his arms around me and hit him by the chest.

"Was that hard to give me a warning?" "Warning doesn't make surprises fun , darling." I gave him a lame face as a loud squawk had freaked me my cat senses. I looked up and found a man with a eye patch on his left eye standing on the quarterdeck. He had a goatee beard  and rainbow dyed hair that was tied in a long ponytail. He was dressed in a brown coat and a white undershirt with brown buckle pirate boots and an additional of a belt around his waist loosely.

"Wassup , Agrona!" "Ugh , not him again..." "Who was that?" I questioned the man flew down from the deck to me , knelt in front of me with his hand held to mine , "The name's Captain Souro , Lady Zinnex. It's fully pleasure to let you be on b-" Before he could place his lips on my knuckles , Osiris hit him hard on the skull. "Mind your own manners , Souro. This was the prince's maiden." "O-Oh , what a shame.."

"Lady Zinnex , this was Captain Souro. He's the captain of the ship and a hybrid of a parrot," Osiris introduce him to me and whisper something into my ear ,"He's a flirt too so yeah. Just in case Agrona gone mad again." I giggled by his response. 

"So , what do you had to tell us , Souro?" Agrona asked with a dark aura floating around him. "E! *cough* what I was going to say that , the sea was quite peace by now. We sure could made it to Pandlings before the festival." "Festival?" I tilted my head , as Souro turned to me , "Huh? Didn't he tell you? What a jerk are you-"

I looked at Agrona who slammed Souro's mouth , making him squawk and flapping his wings crazily. "Y-You know what? We are going to talk about it in the Captain's Cabin." Agrona said while dragged the poor bird in the nest. I was froze that sudden. "I-Is he okay?" "That's how friends get along , relax Lady Zinnex." "You can call me Zinnex you know?" Osiris shrugged as he grabbed a rope and asked me , "Want to feel what's like to be a pirate?" 

Was he going to....

Agrona's POV

"WOO!" I looked out the window that reveal only the blue sea. 'You good , friend?" "I swear I saw something...." I mumbled as a figure smacked onto the window. 

"Hey there , Agrona..."Osiris greeted with me through the glass window as another figure flew across the window. "What did you do this time..." I mumbled as I quickly ran outside the deck and found Zinnex who's swinging aorund the boat.

"Hey Agrona!" "What the heck are you doing?!" I yelled at Zinnex who soon jumped down smoothly , flexing her non fall damage skills. She moved her hair to her back as she shrugged , "Just got bored and tryin' to have some fun?" I looked at her outfit now. 

She was dressed in a scarlet red skirt and a white blouse with gold buttons. She also has knee high high heels boots with golden flourishes on the top fold and a silver buckle. Her lion tail and hair was swinging with the breeze of the wind. 

'She looks.....awesome...' "Agrona? You good?" She looked at me with her eyes sparkled , I can feel the heat gushed up to my face. "Man, are you sick? Your face was so red like blood." She asked as she placed her hand on my forehead. Suddenly , a huge gust of wind blew to us ,making us looked towards the direction of the source.

Turns out , the clouds in front of us were grey black and there's even some lighting stroked down from the sky. As the ship got closer , the ship started to be imbalance and so is our balance. 

Well , Zinnex who's a cat being with the purr-fect balance and Souro who's a bird that can just fly in the sky.

"Adjust the ropes and sails!" I looked at Souro who yelled as a huge rain came in our faces , with additional of waves and lightning as he rushed to the sails and adjusted them quickly for balance. I also rushed to them as well...

Zinnex's POV

While I was adjusting the ropes under the huge storm and water , I found a lost existence....

"Guys.... where's Agrona?" I looked at the flying man who's just soaring in the storm with ropes in his grasp while Osiris was being very imbalance and gliding around the wet dock. 

'Guess they don't need me after all.... I better find him..' I thought as I sneaked off to look for Agrona.

"Agrona?" I called out his name as i walked in the dark hallway that was only lightened up with dim candle light. I almost opened every door that leads to weird rooms like Souro's room with a nest  , a bunch of hay bales and bread in one room which I can assume it's Osiris's room.

Last room....Please tell me he's here...

As I opened the room , I found a desk with books and a window which was revealing the storm out there. A huge queen sized bed with two bedside table and..."Agrona?!" I rushed to Agrona who's currently curled up in a ball and remained in the corner. His face was written with fear and only fear. 

"Agrona? Hu-" As I was being concerned , he suddenly pulled me into his arms , and held me tight. "Z-Zinnex..." "Agrona? Are you okay?" "It's just...,"He mumbled as he held me tighter,"I'm scared..." I was shocked by what he just mentioned , "Did you say that you're-" 

Before I could confirm his sentence , a huge lightning came in and he held me tighter than before. I reached out my hand to his head , full of hesitation but then patted on it. He gulped as he placed his head on his shoulder , letting me feel his hot breath and cold finger tips on my skin. His soft hair make me non-stop patting his head , "So...you're afraid of lightning?" He uttered a soft 'yes' as he sniffed me. 

"i-I thought Mr. Blood God doesn't afraid of anything." "I have , it's not like I'm a god. Kay?" I let out of a small laugh , as I ruffled his head.

"When I was still a pup , I was once the forgotten one. There was a moment when rain stormed in Paiogs , it's like non-stop," I looked at him and thought ,'So , this was his life story huh?' , "For that moment , my mother was terribly ill and Father couldn't seek for a cure. She even almost passed away," i looked at him shockingly.

'The simp queen was almost dead? Then I'm surprise on how she was still alive. '

"And one day , these kind of storm rain happened when she almost closed her eyes , it was just..." He uttered as he sobbed once more. "So....You're not actually afraid of lightning , it just gave you those memories..." I huffed and stood up , "You know what since you're fine , I can actually leave." I said as I stood up and decided to walk out just in case Souro needs help.

"Wait-" , Agrona yelled as he rushed to me , suddenly the boat tilted , making Agrona leaned to me and-

The two of us looked at us awkwardly as we watched each other with our lips parted. "You-' "I-" "Hey Agrona ,have you seen-"

Once again , Osiris busted in with us in that awkward position. He blinked his eyes before he screamed ,

"OH MY GOD , YOU'RE MAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!"

"NO , WE'RE NOT! AND GET YOUR BULL TAIL OUT OF THE ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!"
