Chapter 11

Zinnex's POV

"That should be better for you now." Agrona said after bandaging my sore ankle. I tried to twist my ankle a bit but quickly stopped by him. 'If you don't want to spend the rest of the week in bridal style , stop twisting it." I quickly stopped as he moved his way to the couch.

Night falls , I was half slumber cause I heard something...... I quietly got up from bed to the balcony where the sound came. My tail quickly straightened for being scared , my mind started to have idiotic intrusive thoughts , like...

'What's that? Was there a murderer happening in the palace?'

'Or a herd of human souls came for revenge?'

'*gasp*  , was the palace haunted?!'

I slowly opened the glass door of the balcony and looked to my left and right with my sharp eyes , listening to soft noises with my Lionard ears , and my claws were out from defense , plus , I haven't drank the blood of my enemies from their battle scars since this kingdom was quite family-friendly. 

I sniffed the air and found it somehow familiar. I mean , the smell......was just.... While my mind was wondering in an alien space ship , a hand slammed my mouth shut and pulled me upwards to the roof. I tried to struggle out from their grasp but instead was tangled with their sna- 

Wait a fish....

Snake tail?

I looked through the corner of my eye and found no one but Clyde himself. 

"Clyde?!" "Kitty..." I quickly embraced him as I forgot how his hugs felt like. "b-But how?" "Scarlet helped me out a bit. I pushed her down to let her fly and she can tell the location of the royal Paiog palace." I chuckled a bit for the fact he let Scarly who's always afraid of heights soar in the skies. 

He then placed his hands on my cheek and caressed me full of passion. "I missed you so much." He uttered in my ears as his lips separated away from mine. 

I leaned to his shoulder , smelling his scent while admiring the galactic sky. He placed a caress on my forehead , asking "How's my family-friendly k********g?" "Kinda sucks. I can smell your scent from afar." I said while growled in his arms. "Should I borrow Mrs. Jumbo's perfume next time this happen?" I smacked him by the chest hardly , making him chuckled.

"We should be going."

I looked at him confusingly , asking where.

"Lionards obviously. We can get there before your 18 birthday." I felt joy with what he spoke but.... somehow....I don't felt so inside me....

"Zinnex? Are you okay?" I turned to his face of concerned , opening my mouth.

Clyde's POV

"I felt like staying , Clyde." I looked at the love of my life who placed her head between her legs.

I grabbed her by the arm , yell saying , "Why? Why?! Isn't your plan was to escape this hell you called?! Why do you want to stay?!" "Clyde...., n-not there...." She said while pushed me away from her arm and moving her hands up and downwards on her arm.

I looked at her dressing. It was a white nightgown with laces around and her hair was tied into a loose braid.... Doesn't she hate dresses? Why is she.... 

"What's gone into you?" I said while grabbed her by the arm once again. "Let me go , Cl-" By my over strength , I accidentally tore the sleeve of her dress , revealing bruises and bandages?! "D..DID HE DO THIS TO YOU?!?!" I yelled at her , making her whimper softly. "H-He d-" Before finish listening Zinnex's sentence , I jumped down to the balcony into their room.

I pulled out my dagger as I found him sleeping on the couch. He slept with snores and with the button of his shirt unbuttoned , he just doesn't have the image of a prince! I hissed as I raised my dagger , deciding to stab and not caring about the cost of killing the prince of Paiogs.

As I descend my arm down with full speed , I felt an energy grabbing my wrist , stopping me from stabbing him. I opened my eyes and found Zinnex who's grabbing my arm full of strength and her eyes were full of fear and boldness....

"What are you doing?!" "No , what are YOU doing?!" She whispered yelled me with rage and her lion teeth was revealed. "Obviously killing the prince. He's possessed you!" "He didn't do anything! I choose to!" I descend my arm slowly as I heard she said so. 

"Come....I'll explain..."

"Remember when he brought Father back to Lionards , he was scarred and bleed a lot?" I hummed in response , "It's the Chyenas who did this. The one we chased away , the one who...did this to me , it had been the only species that look the most alike to Paiogs." Zinnex said while leaning against the pole on the roof.

"Not to mention , Agrona's the one who saved him and me." I looked at her with my face written 'Seriously?'. "I can't believe it as well. But , it's reality." 'She mumbled. "Now....the reason I said I'm staying cause this is just what I needed...what I have lost in my life..." I stood up from my ground and whisper yelled at her once more.

"He?! What can you compare between the two of us?!" "I didn't mean that! What I meant was that the world outside , " She said while grabbed the pole as she spun around it , "We have been trapped in the fences of Lionards , I'm sick of looking at it , Clyde."

I looked at her her face of joy while reached her hand to the skyline. "But since I was taken in Paiogs , I have found the world was so much than the world I know when I was a cub. I have sisters from different nations , friends from nations. I love the feeling of achieving this." I curled up fists as I looked at her.

Zinnex's POV

"You know what? Since you love staying here that much , I have learnt that we weren't made for each other." I turned to Clyde and found a face of anger.

"Y-You gotta be joking right?" I asked while walked to him and cupped his face with my hand.

'This can't be how my first relationship end , right?'

"I'm talking serious here. We aren't made for each other. Besides , I have a nation to care. Unlike someone , who cares about the terrifying world and a enemy who lived under the same roof with her." he said cold as North pole while moving my hand away his cheeks.

"Are you insulting me? I just had such a dream. And you're going to breakup with me just because I want to explore?"

"The world out there was dangerous Zinnex!"

"Gosh , you sound like my dad!"

"Cause he told me to protect you!"

"Then , I beg your pardon to tell him that I can survive in this nasty wild as you two call! Now go , I'm sick of you , Clyde Windson!" I growled at him as he walked backwards and uttered , 

"Sure....Yeah. We're done. We're totally DONE!"

And he was gone....

And so is my first relationship......
