Kimora," Marcus said, his voice heavy with sadness, "I appreciate the apology, but I'm not sure if I can forgive you. You hurt me, Kimora. You made me feel like I wasn't good enough, like you didn't really love me." Kimora felt a lump forming in her throat, and tears began to spill down her cheeks. "I know," she whispered. "I know I did, and I'm so, so sorry. I don't expect you to forgive me right away. I just wanted to tell you how much I care about you." Marcus took a deep breath, his gaze fixed on his hands. "I don't know if I can trust you again, Kimora. I thought we had something real, and it turned out to be a lie." Kimora's heart ached at his words. "I know I messed up," she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I want you to know that my feelings for you were real. Kimora left the coffee shop, her heart heavy with sorrow. As she walked down the street, the tears flowed freely, her sobs echoing in the quiet afternoon air. She felt as if she had lost everything, her world crumbling beneath her feet. When she finally reached home, she stumbled into her room and collapsed on her bed, her mind filled with regret and self-loathing. "I'll never come out again," she sobbed into her pillow. "I'll never put myself out there like that again. In the days and weeks that followed, Kimora shut herself off from the world. She stayed in her room, curtains drawn, drowning her sorrows in sad movies and tubs of ice cream. She ignored the text messages from Maya and the concerned calls from her family, hiding herself away from the pain that had engulfed her life.
