* * * Hayden’s POV * * * We sail home in silence. The victory is bittersweet. We lost two important members of our pack. There were no bodies to recover. No possessions to bring back with us. Charles and Henry are gone. All that remained was a pile of rubble where the giant house had once stood. Harry’s prison in disguise is no more. We slowly sail and weave through the shallow waters of the outer city. My mind is fuzzy and distracted. I barely register the medics working on Harry. “He’s going to make it,” a voice says over the intercom. I slide to the back of the pod and pick up a microphone. “That’s great news.
