Castling.

The inside of the castle was a grand affair. No expenses were spared. Which isn’t to say much, when the lifespan of a vampire is forever. Vampires are always rich guys because they have time to settle and to save up money and to just generally have more. It’s easier to have more when you have all the time in the world and nothing much left to lose. The color scheme of the draperies and carpets was blood red, as vampires are known to have. But Luci much preferred to have it changed to a light blue, to go with the times, and to maybe put their “guests” at ease. Of course, what they mean is food, but calling people guests is more hospitable. There were old fashioned paintings on the wall, and everything really just looked like a classic stereotypical castle out of an old fashioned vampire novella. Benedict was amazed at what she saw around her, regardless. For someone who’s always had nothing, having something is awfully great. She circled her head around as she stared at all the pretty things she saw, and Luci took the moment to watch her circling around. He wasn’t much for enjoying others, but she seemed to be an exception. Not just for her weird mysterious powers, that he definitely wanted to learn more about. But that was for later. For now he took her on the castle tour, showing her every room and floor, to help her get comfortable in her new “home.” As they finished up their little tour, his brothers took the opportunity to show up. They’re the kind of brothers that are daunting to others when first viewed, so Benedict understandably hid when she first saw them. Luci laughed at his little foundling, and starting the introductions, letting her know these two strangers were in fact his brothers, Arlo and Eden.
