SELENE'S POV.
I saw her as soon as I arrived outside and took slow steps toward her. If I'm being honest, she still scares me a little. Actually, scratch that, the woman scares the living daylights out of me, even though I know she's Aldric's sister. Plus, she obviously doesn't mean me any harm, from what I can tell. But still... Seriously, she looks like a ghost. And trust me, no one feels comfortable around ghosts. Not me, anyway.
I stood a few steps behind her, wondering if I should call her by her name or just stick to "Miss," like I normally did.
Thankfully, she saved me the trouble of having to decide by turning around, obviously sensing my presence.
