It's happening. The day of the fight is finally here. Pack members from both packs have gathered at the arena, and a ring of fire has been made on the ground to mark the spot where the fight will take place.
The rule of the fight was that no one was allowed to step out of or take the fight beyond the ring of fire. This method was used in fights like this during ancient times to keep things from getting out of hand. With the fire burning in a circle around the fighters, everyone can be assured that there won't be any external interference or cheating.
I was seated in the crowd with the rest of the Night Crescent pack members present in the arena, and I found a spot with the few people in this world who didn’t want me dead. At least not yet.
